We still waited about 75 minutes once they told us to show up. That being said, the intake nurse was friendly and efficient. The doctor knew his stuff and honed in on what he could do to help. Maybe I've been spoiled by my previous provider, but this experience was not a great impression. When I first arrived, I was acknowledged by an unpleasant receptionist. It's pretty clear that she doesn't like her job-or the people she works with. I felt like I was intruding on her day and inconveniencing her just by being there. After I filled out my paperwork (which she basically tossed at me), she didn't look up as I stood in front of her. Perhaps she didn't hear me with her earbuds in and she was zoned out to any other place than here. Eventually, she took the paperwork and told me I'd be called back when they were ready. Once I went back to an exam room, I noticed how eerily quiet everything was...that is, until the doctor entered the adjacent room and I heard every bit of their conversation. Truly, I could tell you what the issue was, what the doctor's recommendation for treatment is and when to follow up. All between the paper thin walls. I didn't feel like privacy was a given, even though we were in separate rooms. My experience with the doctor was fine-quick, but got the job done. She was friendly enough and I appreciated her get-down-to-business attitude. I'd imagine she's not there to build rapport with patients since this isn't that type of place. But it sure makes me miss my previous doctor office.

They will have to surgically remove the chair from my ass for how long i've been sitting here doing absolutely nothing, hearing absolutely nothing from anyone. You'd think they have only have 1 ultrasound machine in the entire state of Utah with how long this place takes for such a simple test. I'm beyond upset, infuriated to put it plainly. This was the worst show of professional medical care I've ever seen in my life. Terrible hospital. Forgetful healthcare workers. The only positive side is it's clean, as should EVERY hospital be. 7.5 hours later, my wife is still in pain, i'm fighting sleep from the chair, and we are not one inch closer to getting the hell out of this place.

He said this was super serious, if it went on further I'd be going to the emergency room for emergency surgery. I was completely shocked after visiting another instacare being told to wait out the viral infection on day 2 of being sick. I'm so glad I went for a 2nd opinion. This was day 12 & I felt hopeless and fearful I was just going to be told to wait it out. Thank God for Dr Peterson taking all this away & giving me the care I so desperately needed. I feel super blessed and lucky to have walked in there & to find a Dr specializing in sore throats. He said I had bad luck because he only sees this maybe twice a year. But I also think I had good luck to get him as my Dr today. I can't thank you enough Dr Peterson for my experience today & for my future health. I'm so grateful. Also shout out to Nurse Taylor S. I've been sick for over a week and have been missing a ton of work. I know my body and what works and doesn't work. When you come in feeling miserable and then the doctor makes you feel even more miserable, you wonder what you are paying the doctor for. When I stood my ground and told him I would take the risks associated with the Z-Pak, he walked out like he was angry after he agreed to prescribe it. He wouldn't even look at me. It felt like he thought I had personally attacked him and he responded very immaturely. I won't ever go back to him or let my children go to him either.
