Only giving them a star because I have to. I am so upset with Mayo High school and the…read moreadministration there. They let my son down and all the hard work both him and I were doing for him to graduate. For a assistant principal to tell my son he would be better off in the GED program is horrible. Now we officially lost everything. This was to a kid that had such a low self esteem that he had been in and out of the hospital for sucidal issues and now what he did was pretty much tell him he was no good. I was promised by his special teacher she would never give up on my son, but she did too. She was the only adult he trusted. I guess their moto is when the going gets tough you quit!

My time at John Marshall High school was great. The teachers were involved and cared about the…read morestudents and most people were nice to each other. It was easy to tribe there and there were many departments that you could reach out for help from. However I have heard some input recently that John Marshall has gone downhill and is not keeping students accountable in the classroom. My time there was great, but this review may be outdated compared to more recent reviews.
