History

Established in 2014.

My journey in the beauty industry began in 2014 when I started as a freelance makeup artist while still in high school. I quickly fell in love with bridal work and began doing prom and homecoming makeup out of the outdoor playhouse at my parents’ house. What started as a small creative outlet quickly grew into a passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful. In 2019, I became a lash extension artist, which allowed me to build a consistent clientele and deepen relationships with my clients. From there, my interest in the artistry of hair grew. In 2020, I began offering hair color services, which naturally led to specializing in hair extensions as well. In 2024, I opened the doors to my first salon. Since then, our team has grown and we have recently moved into a larger location. Southern Beauty Co. continues to expand, creating more opportunities for education, collaboration, and growth for the talented women who work here.
