I didn't remember her telling me it had to be in cash, so she sent me an email saying she tried to call me. My number was put in wrong, so i sent an email back saying i was at work, can i please have whichever number you need me to call to make the payment, also sent my correct phone number. No response. She did have my son's correct number they could have called. That was on a Friday. Sunday comes i get an email saying his Monday lesson was cancelled. I sent an email, telling her i had the cash and would give it to them when they came. She told me when it was paid my son would be rescheduled and oh by the way we are scheduling into end of April. She was very rude with me the whole time, told me to stop messaging them, that when i paid it she would schedule him. (But over a month away) I contacted another school, to go there. She then refused to give me my son's birth certificate saying she can hold it until i pay everything in full. When i tried to explain my emails were not answered on Friday, she said "Google it's a wonderful concept" telling me i could have found the number there. I asked about what specific number she wanted me to call because i had multiple different numbers i was contacted from, and being at work didn't have time to call them all. All in all Lori is the most rude person I ever had to deal with, which is sad because she started out so sweet and i had high hopes. Only positive is my son said his instructor was very nice and he liked him, but that's no way for an owner of a company to talk to someone. Picture below is only part of how nasty she was. I'm just reapplying for a new birth certificate. Whatever you do find a different driving school.

After the full course, there is clearly no actual skills being taught. I would still expect nervousness and some initial intimidation, but that there would be a baseline of skills- this is not the case at all. Never did our daughter go on a highway, and even the basic skills are almost non-existent. Save your money and go elsewhere. We now have to pay for a full second course with a different school just to have the confidence that our daughter will have the necessary skills and road abilities.

5-star learning experience with Nick!…read more I'm 27 years ago and have always been super anxious about driving so I never actually learned how to. I'm glad I found Nick and the Pennsylvania Driving School. I passed the road test on my first try with Nick's help! He is really patient, understanding, and supportive. He taught me how to not only pass the test but also know how to drive safely and confidently in the long run. He'd pick me up on time for every lesson, go over the car dashboard controls, let me practice driving especially right/left turns, and explain what to do in certain scenarios. He has a foolproof method for parallel parking that I was able to understand and succeed at right away. I took the test with him as well and I'm glad I did. He picked me up at 6:30 in the morning and drove me to the test site to practice on the exact routes that the test would be on. I finished everything and got my driver's license at 9am! I never thought this day would come but I'm proud of myself for overcoming my driving anxiety. Thank you Nick a million times for your awesome instructions and for giving me the freedom to go out there on my own and explore!

I feel like he's condescending at times, but I wanted to learn so I suck it up. I took 3 lessons with them and I still feel like I can barely drive. Lesson 1 - Dave picked me up and asked if I know any empty parking lots near me. He spent 1 hr 30mins just telling me where are the 12 blind spots on the car, the controls in the car and explaining the details of the RECEIPT!!! 30mins driving around and around a parking lot. Lesson 2 - Dave picked me up and finally found a better parking lot. Spent 30mins going through everything he told me on the first lesson. 30mins driving around the parking lot. 50mins finally driving on the road! Lesson 3 - Dave picked me up and took 30mins to find a good place to practice (back to the same parking lot). Spent 30 mins in the parking lot trying some angle parking. 1hr on the road. No parallel parking just because there's snow on the curb. After 3 lessons (6 hrs) I expect to know more about driving and parking. I feel that there's a lot of wasted time on my dime.
