Seeing how hi-tech and great everything was I expected to pay a few limbs per month but it wasn't THAT bad- I think I got a pretty good deal. I went to this storage facility to see how it looked and to check some specific storage units that…read morewere available. I randomly discovered this place while searching for storage on Google Maps. What caught my attention about this particular storage right away was the prices - they looked very reasonable online on the official website. I had checked a few other storage facilities around Midtown Miami, and StorageMart definitely offered the best deals for the same-sized units. But when I actually visited the StorageMart and spoke with the Rental Office manager, he told me that the prices are a little higher if you book directly with them. The online deals are cheaper; take note of that! Another plus about this facility - there were three people working at the Rental Office that day. At other storage companies I visited, there was usually just one person at the office. The manager here was nice and friendly. He gave me a tour of the facility and answered all my questions. I left with a very positive impression of the place. Everything looked very good and clean. There were no weird smells on the floors. Every floor I checked had good lighting, and the air conditioners were working well - the air was perfectly cool. The only negative thing I can mention about this facility is that there aren't many parking spots (I believe I counted just about six). When I arrived, all the spots were taken, so I had to park on a side street near the storage. Also, honestly, the location of the storage isn't ideal. It's separated from Midtown Miami by a highway, so it's definitely complicated if you're a pedestrian and want to walk there from Midtown. To sum up: I think this StorageMart property is very nice, and I am seriously considering renting a unit here. I can absolutely recommend it!

When I asked who has access to our units they said only the person with the key fobs and to speak to my husband who is the only one with the key fob. Um duhh why do you think I'm calling to make a report. My husband is the one who discovered that the kitchen aid that belonged to his deceased step mother is missing. Please do not store any valuables here. Take a picture of what your storage looks like every time you visit. And take good pictures of what you have in there. When I stated I would file a police report & that the police would request access to the cameras they stated that they do not provide access to the cameras inside only the front door. How convenient when it's clearly an inside job. When I say pissed that's an understatement. I will be removing everything from this storage.

I've had a few different storage units at this location for the last several years and I must say…read morethat I've been quiet pleased. The location is convenient, the facility is always extra clean and the staff is consistent and always ready to assist. The units are also climate controlled. You can purchase storage related materials like tape, boxes and other packing goods at the office and they will loan you a flatbed cart to wheel your items as long as you leave your ID as collateral until the cart is returned. The parking area, which is secure, is indoors so there is no fear of getting wet when loading or unloading items. The two downsides about this location (and likely all Value Store It locations), is that (1) every year the prices go up on your unit. Regardless of how many years you've been a loyal customer or have consistently paid in a timely manner, the price of the unit (doesn't matter the size) increases by about five dollars. Additionally, (2) it would be helpful if they had a dumpster or some other large garbage bin to discard items while you clean up your unit.

Also, they have a moving truck you can have on move in day for free, although you do have to buy insurance $14 and fill the tank back up when your done. if you only drive 25 miles round trip you don't have to pay for miles. Also, there is a gal there, Martha, who is super helpful and tries her best to find the best deal and unit for you. If you need storage go to this place and check it out.

The storage unit comes in different sizes, and you can change later to a smaller or larger unit. It's very clean inside. And very helpful staff, the entire process didn't take long, but a few minutes, which was nice. They also have carts you can use to move items from your car to the unit, but ask that you return them to the area where you picked them up. But when I went back a few days later to move items into the unit, one of the elevators was down, leaving only 1 working. And you can't use the stairs, saw a sign that the opening exit would sound the alarm, which was a bit of a hassle, as a few other customers were moving stuff at the same time. No cart was available, which made the process a bit longer. But overall, I'm happy with deciding to use them.
