Paid for services in advance and never got the service or the items paid for after months of trying to get my refund had to file legal claim against the company and found out that I was not the only one that they had did this to, there was several other were taking legal action against that company. If I would have read the reviews of that company I would have never gone there. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I had a highly disappointing experience at Sound Solutions in Gulfport. Initially, I was greeted and helped by two employees who were professional, friendly, and patient. The first employee, a younger guy who seemed new to the job, was incredibly polite and eager to assist. Even when he didn't know an answer, he would ask his teammates for clarification, showing a genuine willingness to help. The second employee, a Navy veteran, was equally kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about helping me understand my options. At this point, I was excited to potentially work with this store for my car audio needs. Unfortunately, my final interaction with another employee completely ruined my experience. This individual, a tall, skinny Black man with dreadlocks, whom I believe is either a manager or senior technician, was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. His behavior toward both customers and his colleagues was appalling. He talked down to his teammates and, more importantly, treated me with complete disrespect. As someone who knows little about car audio, I came in ready to learn and potentially make a purchase, but instead of being guided through the process, I was met with impatience and hostility. When I asked questions to better understand the products and services, this employee became visibly irritated, pushy, and even began raising his voice. He tried to gaslight me by accusing me of having an attitude, even though I was calm, polite, and genuinely trying to make an informed decision. His tone and demeanor were unnecessarily aggressive, and I left the store feeling angry and disrespected. To make matters worse, the lack of employee presence was notable. When other customers came into the store, they had to wait a long time to receive assistance, which added to the poor experience. I've also noticed from reading reviews online that this store has a reputation for poor customer service, and based on my experience, I can see why. The responses to negative reviews from the store's account reflect the same dismissive and rude tone I encountered with this particular employee, which makes me suspect he's the one replying to them. It's clear that this individual lacks the professionalism and temperament to work in a customer-facing role. While I understand that every business has bad days, the level of disrespect I encountered was unacceptable. Most of the employees were nice and helpful. The owner is a dishonest jerk though which is why they get 1 star. They sold me a stereo that was supposed to stream Bluetooth and list what was playing without hooking up USB. The one they installed did not do this after they told me it would and made me by the one with GPS (because only that model supposedly would do what I wanted). Honest mistake I guess. Took back and they said they would change out stereo after I found the one that did what I wanted. Looked in their book and said new one was $100 cheaper and they'd refund difference. Put in new one, works well and happy with it. Refund? The owner said they made ANOTHER "mistake" and this one happened to be same price as the one installed wrong. No refund. Told him to take out new stereo, put my original stock one in, give me my money back and I'd go elsewhere. Would only offer store credit even though THEY screwed up twice. Moral of story--happy with stereo, would never go back or send someone there because of the crooked owner. read more
