I was really excited about SOT as I love a good burger, especially coupled with their great draft beer selection. It's a pricy burger and an even pricier beer, unfortunately the burger was extremely disappointing. It was dry, tasteless and definitely not worth the price. I'd go as far as to say that a burger from burger king would be juicier.. I also got a side of sweet potato fries, which were so burnt they were black when they came out. Luckily the staff agreed to swap them out for a new batch. Would probably never come here again as there are many cheaper and better burger places in town.. read more

Great burgers! Handcrafted, charcoal grilled delights of meat (beef, chicken filet or veggie option at your choice) and all things tasty, on an equally handcrafted sourdough bun! You can roll with the traditional beef-cheese-bacon kind of burger, or you can try out the more creative options with mango chutney, red pepper salsa or even blue cheese. They only offer a few combinations, but they do each of them really well. I guess less actually is more sometimes, even when it comes to burgers. Burgers are quite small. That's the only drawback. But this place never pretended to be anything else, and if you're still hungry just buy another one. They're approx. NOK 100, so it won't ruin you. Wide and interesting selection of beer (although some of the imports truly hurts your wallet...). Ended up paying more for the beers than the food, but it was worth it. Love the Nintendo 64 they set up for you to enjoy while you wait for your food! read more

Expensive burnt spicy burger and noisy place. I order a vegetarian burger that said to have some mango among other things. It was so spicy and the burger was burnt and thin so you couldn't feel any taste but a spice. The price was 125 kr around 12 euros. It is also not properly sound insulated so it's hard to listen to other people talking. read more

I am done... today was 1 of the 1st beautiful days in a while... I bought 500kr worth of food& drink & planned on buying more. 1 old dude & his old dude friend wanted shade... with every other person out there for sun, instead of letting the dude know he could sit inside, the waitress pulled down the outdoor awning. I let her know I only came, to sit in the sun & if she asked all the other patrons, only these 2 old dudes would want the awning down. Absolutely didn't matter to her at all. The food is good, but you can get the same somewhere else now a days in Trondheim. I am giving them 1 star because they are posers with decent recipes; who do not train their staff in customer service & in Trondheim today, a customer can spend their money somewhere where the staff respects their customers. You probably could get a better burger in a junk food restaurant. I was served an extremely spicy burger which was a second option in the menu. How hard is to inform customers that the burger will be spicy. And by the way everything is very expensive. read more
