I've been going here for almost 2 years now because Z is dependable and does a clean, precise job, even when she is in a rush. The only thing is that she never smiles and always looks pissed that I've come to her, but nevertheless I know she can get the job done the best so I come back. Except on Sunday's, when she's not in. The young girl who did my eyebrows didn't do a clean job, there were still hairs near my eyelids and when she did my lip, she did the same spot so many times it felt like she was rubbing it raw. Not to mention, there were still hairs after I left. To make it worse, a couple days later I had little scabs on my eyelids from the harsh threading. Sweet. So a 4 for Z, her awesome abilities, but unfamiliarity with smiling. read more

I love Sophie's threading, she does such a great job with my eyebrows. I really do recommend her not only is she good with the eyebrows she really knows how to make you feel comfortable. Also love the fact that they do more than eyebrows. They do the most here from doing make up to selling it as well. Like i said before I really do recommend her, she's fast and painless. read more

I found this place about 2 months ago through this app and I FELL IN LOVE. I moved back to southern Cali a little more than a year ago and was sad to leave my old eyebrow lady. After long time of search and many ehhhh results from other places I can say I finally found the place I can call home. My eyebrows have never looked this good! I had to find a new threading salon as I recently moved. My eyebrows are something I would actually be willing to make a drive for because if they get messed up, they can alter the way you look. My regular ladies at both the Orange and Santa Ana Nuna Threading no longer work there so I was on the hunt for someone closer. I'm not complaining about the quality of work, they did a fair job at threading... I'm complaining about how they over charged! My sister and I went this past Saturday September 16th 2017 around 2pm-3pm and my sister got her upper lip $2.99 and eyebrows threaded $4.99, and I got my eyebrows $4.99, upper lip $2.99 and chin done $4.99.. well according to their prices it should have been around $21, but they charged me $29... I asked why the price hike? Lady said she had done "xtra" threading on my chin, I'm NOT even a hairy person, and I never asked her to do xtra work, nor did she explain or ask during the process!!... REALLY?!?! That so-called xtra work is $8 more?!?! And we had tipped them $2 each... IF they charged Taxes which they don't, that is still too much. I had an event to attend so I didn't have time to argue nor did I want to deal with them. They just lost two potential customers, since we were looking for a new threading place... I work hard for my money so I don't appreciate being taken advantage of. read more

I came to Sophie's Threading for the first time to get eyelash extensions and I couldn't be happier with the experience and quality of the lashes! I called to schedule an appointment and they took me the same day. The procedure lasted approximately one hour and the eyelash technician was super warm and friendly. She did such a great job with my volume lashes! They feel weightless and very comfortable. I will definitely be returning in two weeks as the lashes are for my wedding day. I've been here a few times before but I've never been really happy with the service. My eyebrows are fine, but the ladies providing the service are a different story. First time I went, the lady had such a strong cigarette odor, I couldn't breathe. I held my breath on purpose bc I coughed when she started threading my eyebrows and I, naturally, breathed in. Second time, I think I got the owner. She talked a lot (I'm fine w that) but she was so rough! She broke the thread like 6 times. I had thread burn (is that a thing?). I was sore for days and I didn't want to return. This place is close to my house and I need convenience. I went in this morning and saw a new girl. Jumped at the chance to give her a try! She seems shy and she told me she's new. But she did good. Her name is Jass. She works Friday through Monday so I'll make sure I go in when she's in! read more

If you want great looking and thick eyebrows go to ROSA. The main lady can thread for the most part, well she used to . But lately I've noticed that shes been a little inpatient and rushes to finish . I have been going to her for about 2 years or so and I have noticed that my eyebrows were getting thinner and thinner everytime id see her. So I decided to go in yesterday and the girl that did my eyebrows .... all I have to say is WOW. I am happy and definatly will only be going back to her from now on. Found this place through Groupon. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I was hesitant at first since it was my first time getting lash extensions, but let me tell you, Zee did an AMAZING job. Even then that's an understatement, she was able to get me in so quickly. She made me feel so comfortable and welcome, came here twice already! My lashes made me feel like a brand new woman‍ and lasted for two and a half weeks. The prices are so affordable too, definitely will be "re-returning". I was a completely faithful client. I used to love Z. The problem with this place, the main problem, is that she is easily distracted. Her kids are always there. If her kids are not there then she is on her cell phone. One day last year I cam in and Z did my nails. In the middle of my session she answered her phone. Instead of excusing herself and completing her call she continued to thread my eyebrows. After she was done and handed me the mirror I noticed a huge chunk taken out of my left eyebrow. When I asked her about it, she then tried to blame the way my eyebrows grew and I said no.... You weren't paying attention. She didn't charge me and said to come in, in two weeks to give some growth and she will fix it. It's now more than a year later and my brows are still so uneven. I went in last week and Z wasn't there. The person filling in did a horrible job. My brows were so lopsided that she said she'd call Z to come in and fix them for me. There was a huge issue with our language gap. I left there for the last time. I will NEVER go back there again. Their customer service is horrible!! To top this all off the new person ripped my skin so bad that the next day I have small scabs on my brow bone. read more
