She gave me a summary of what Dexter's day would look like if she were to watch him while we were away. Some dog sitters will shy away from caring for an elderly dog that needs more TLC, but not Mel. She was game, and we were thankful. She arrived on time, shooed us out the door, and sent us just the right amount of pupdates while we were away. We returned to a super clean house and a knackered dog who seemed sadder to see Mel go than happy to see us return home. Dexter's reaction to Mel leaving was confirmation for us that she was the right fit for Dexter and she would be our first choice for dog-sitting from now on.
