Service was fast. The pretzel was hot. That's about it in terms of positive things about our experience today. The tots were not fresh or hot, just luke warm, which is always a bummer. Our drinks were not great. We ordered easy ice but still tastes watery. Supposed to be a dirty cherry coke zero with extra cherries, but it's not even fizzy, so would maybe try again without making it dirty. My boyfriend ordered a coke zero with sweet cream, cherry, & vanilla, but can't really taste any sweet cream. The drinks are just better at swig, but the prices are better at sonic. read more

The single worst "food" experience of my life. Don't go here. Ever. You've been warned. We went here to get 2 sonic blasts. We sat at the drive up stall first but no one ever responded. Next we moved to the drive-thru. It took us over 15 minutes to reach the window. The card reader at the window said "Tampered" and was not usable. We sat at that window for 15 more minutes, before a man stuck his head out the window to say they were out of the topping I had ordered and did I want something else. FIFTEEN MINUTES. It was another 10 minutes before we had our TWO MILKSHAKES and were on our way. To make everything worse they didn't even blend the toppings lol. Brittney is the absolute best worker who recommended amazing cherry or strawberry limeade because we were asking which one is most popular since it's been a while since my partner and I have gone to sonic. It's my first time in years and she left such a good impression based off of her memory of adding in many ketchups in the bag and greeting us with a smile at the car and taking her time with passing the bags. Brittney seems incredibly hard-working and energetic, and she is a great asset to the team! We loved the chicken club toaster and I think that it's even better with jalapeños and my boyfriend got such a great deal of a chicken bacon ranch wrap for just 1.99! read more

Rude workers. I ordered 2 smashburger combos and when I got to the window they repeated the order but separated everything. I reminded them that I wanted the combo, not the burger, fries, and drink separate. The girl said it was basically the same thing. She did not budge and started to give attitude. Impromptu visit to treat myself to a Route 44 diet cherry limeade, a medium cup of ice water and a vanilla soft serve ice cream cone with my 7 year old brindle Scottish Terrier along with me. I had never used the Sonic app, and noticed that drinks were 1/2 price when ordered through the app. I went ahead and downloaded, ordered, and paid through the app. It asked me for my stall number. The app said I could locate the stall number at the bottom corner of the lighted menu board. I could not locate it, so I pushed the red button to call the staff. No one was answering, so I also made a cell phone call to the store. The phone rang for the longest time and finally a female answered. I explained my situation. She took my name placed on the order. To me, the ambiance was low key busy. There were a few vehicles in the drive-thru, and a few vehicles parked in stalls around 10 pm while I continued to wait. After about 30 minutes a carhop finally delivered my order. He apologized right away saying that they "lost my order." So, for the "half price" medium ice water for my dog, cost me $.80! I always tip, and did so with this order. It's hard for me to wrap my head around how the staff lost my order, and how it took well over 30 minutes for me to receive two drinks in an ice cream cone. In all my years in customer service, hospitality and being a manager at one point training employees have I ever encountered ordering food at a drive through with the lady saying, "what else?" Then doesn't say anything about driving forward or saying thank you. I get it, it's late, probably ain't your career choice but learn some proper customer service cues and scripts. Pulled in the drive thru. There were 2 cars ahead of me. It took the 1st car over 10 mins to order. Either on their end or Sonics. The next car was fast to order and when I came up to the speaker it took them over 5 minutes to acknowledge me and to take my order. Can't go wrong with 2 corn dogs and a large Cherry limeade. Cherry Limeade was made perfectly and just the right amount of fresh lime. Been craving a corn dog for a while so it was real good and the mustard made it even better. A late night snack craving led us to give Sonic a try. They have a variety of food choices. They also have a variety of service options including a traditional drive in and an option to park and have your order brought to you like the more old fashioned drive ins. You park in a space and review the menu board. When you're ready to order you push a button to connect to an employee. Wow, this employee was not friendly. "Do you know what you want?"was the initial greeting followed by "What else?" after each item we ordered. No thank you. No nothing. You pay at the ordering screen by inserting your credit card. The order arrived a few minutes later was delivered by a slightly more friendly employee. I had a basic soft serve sundae which was decent but nothing too special. I've been to this place around 6 times, and unfortunately, my order has been wrong every single time. It's a bummer to pay extra for a cherry in your drink and not get one, or to order chocolate ice cream and end up with vanilla, or have your side of onion rings completely forgotten and then told they are out when you inquire about it; so why did you let me pay for them in the first place. It's become a recurring disappointment that has made me decide not to go back to Sonic. Although their food doesn't impress me, I can't resist their delightful drinks and ice cream. And their ice is amazing. The cherry limeade is a stroke of genius, and their ice cream is truly top-notch. The customer service is just average, nothing to write home about.
