Terribly slow service. Literally been waiting for 15 minutes and still haven't had my order taken. Always out of onion rings. Came here on two occasions to find out they were out of ice cream. Absolutely awful experience. I do not blame the staff at this location. The girl who brought the order to our car was very nice and she fixed the order when we told her our drink was wrong. This establishment needs more employees and more product. I HATE leaving a bad review, but I do so in hopes that the people in charge of this Sonic address the problems they have. read more

I've been here a couple of times and have always had pretty good service, but since they opened they seemed to have taken a sharp decline. I asked for a burger with no tomatoes, no pickles. They reiterate when I order. They again, repeat it when I get my food. I bite in, find two slices of tomato. I can live with picking out tomatoes, but I ordered a medium onion ring. I pull out the bag thinking maybe some dropped. Nope. Seven dinky onion rings and the wrapper isn't even full. I can see why they don't have lines around the block anymore. I wish Dick's had moved south instead of Sonic. Because this place is a joke now. I grew up in Oklahoma where there is a Sonic in every town, so I was thrilled when I moved to Lacey and found there is a Sonic here. Unfortunately, my experiences have been hit and miss. The food is as good as I remember, but the service is sub-par. Twice I've gotten home only to realize they left out some of my food. Since it's about six miles from my home, I let it go -- throwing money down the drain. Until the service improves, I'm afraid I can't recommend this location. :( read more

Those two burgers were for the very hangry boy child who happens to have autism and avoids cheese like its the plague. All three burgers were also requested no pickles. Never have been a fan of carhops during the colder weather days, so I prefer to go through the drive thru (they get cold too). Whomever I've talked to has always been pleasant, I get my food with a bit of a wait (which means they're making it) and I'm ok with that. When food is too fast, you begin to question the places' standards. My go-to lately... Soft pretzels twists, warm cheese dip, and a large cherry limeade. Customer service is good and the workers are n car when we come here... but here's the thing... every time we come we have something missing from our order... last time it was cheddar peppers.. this time tots... we left because she reassured us it was all in the box... and the tots were missing... we shouldn't have to check our food orders if you repeat our order back to us twice and you reassure us when you handover the food... The old lady in the window gave new ones back with a horrible attitude and slammed the window on our face as we were thanking her for her service. She did not deserve the thank you. They have these ads on screens on location that describe something so different than what they sell. You are not fooling me. Never again. Not sure what the point of mobile ordering and choosing a specific pick up time is for if it's still going to take forever to even get my order. Chose a 12:00 pickup, arrived a few minutes after 12 and pressed the red call button in the stall. After 5 minutes, received no response despite another car - who pulled up after me - getting their order taken. Finally got a response after waiting 10 minutes. Didn't get my order until nearly 12:30. They forgot several sauces included in my order but I didn't want to ask for them & end up waiting another 10 minutes over it. As others have said here & on google reviews, they seem to focus more on the drive thru rather than those waiting in the stalls. Maybe they need specific spaces for those with mobile preorders. Clearly they need to make some changes if 90% of the reviews are complaining about the same exact thing. read more

Worst service EVER! Waited 20 min for food, got the food, and it was all cold. And the shakes were wrong. Took forever to get a 'carhop' back out to us while our toddler cried in the back because the food was messed up. Then go to ask for a refund, and give all the food back, and the cracked out manager comes out, and says we have to pay for the food we ate. (One shake, and one order of boneless wings) which is fine. But she has to 'recharge our card' instead of just taking off what we already paid... NEVER AGAIN... horrible service. I will not eat here again!! My son and his girlfriend wanted to eat here.. Since my boyfriend and I had never ate anything from sonic's we decided to give it a try instead of going to Taco Time. What a wrong decision. We ordered the extra long ultimate cheesesteak onion rings and he got chicken tenders. Let me say the ONLY THING that was worth the money were the onion rings. But the "Ultimate" cheesesteak was a joke there was no cheese of any kind & why would anyone put tots on a cheesesteak!! The chicken tenders were not at all tasty. The bill was $47.68 for two philly two onion rings 2 foot longs 2 cheese fries and 2 shakes. Definitely not worth the money that's for sure. I'll never eat there again. read more

We just went through the drive through today, ordering a small banana shake. When we got to the window the order turned into medium banana shake. When we got home we discovered it was in fact a medium banana peanut butter shake! Fortunately we don't have peanut allergies or obviously this could have been a costly mistake. I tried to call the restaurant and they don't answer the phone hence I'm going to trash them here. I've heard that no one ever gets their order right there and this proves it right. But this could have been a serious health issue. On the food side...the onion rights tasted bitter...like there's something actually not right with them. I grew up going to one Sonic or another. Usually for a vanilla Dr. Pepper, but that's beside the point, I guess. This one sucks. We've been there twice and each time we've been disappointed. The first time it was because the order was incorrect. Statistically speaking, they probably had a better chance of getting the order right if they had just thrown some crap in a bag and not bothered with the charade of speaking through the menu board. Came to this Sonic when it first opened, service was horrible and they made both orders incorrectly. I gave them a pass as it was only open for a month. Fast forward to today, thought I'd give them another chance. They made my burger wrong, they said they would have a new one right out. After waiting fifteen minutes, no burger so I buzzed them and asked for the burger. They said "I'm so sorry I'll bring it right out". It took 13 more minutes. Sorry to say that I won't be back. Sigh. There is the idea of going to Sonics and then there's the reality of actually going to the Lacey Sonic and experiencing it. I have given this location more chances to do better, but I can say that I HATE coming here. The wait time is atrocious, even when the line is between 3-4 cars. My orders have never been 100% correct, either the size we paid for was wrong, or the mixtures of the milkshakes are unbalanced. I pulled up wanting to buy my girlfriend an iced coffee but they were out, then I wanted to get an oreo shake, but the "machine is broken" so they couldn't do that either. So I ended up just getting one small blast, which I had waited for for 20 minutes before pressing the button again and them telling me they can't take stall orders and to go through the drive thru even tho I had just ordered at the stall and paid there. What a huge disappointment! I'm a Sonic fan. I was excited that Sonic finally came to our town. After "eating" there tonight, I won't be back. I couldn't even finish what I ordered. The food was inedible. It was cold and soggy and too salty. I've eaten at Sonic in several other states and the food was great. I'm not sure what is happening at this specific location.
