Waited over 20 min for a BLT. Thought I was stopping for a quick bite. When the food finally arrived, it was cold.

"Meh" pretty well sums up my experience with Sonic in Fitzgerald. Often times I've been parked and other people who come later received their orders first. My last experience while there almost led to me contacting their corporate headquarters again. Worst service ever. Waited for 10 minutes and no one took our order in the drive thru order. Asked and employee taking out the trash why no one was taking orders. She said she it wasn't her job; she just clocked out. Then we pulled around to the window that had finally cleared out. The girl who came to the window apologized then asked us for our order 3 times. I guess 3 drinks were too confusing to make because a man finally came and took our Oder and gave us the wrong total. All told, it took 23 minutes to get a soda with only one car in front of us. read more

Used the drive thru and got the person in the car behind us order but didn't realize it till we got home. The meat on the burgers are tasteless, the onion rings are bland and all that for over 28 dollars for two people. What a waste of money for absolutely the worst fast food. The drive thru help is not up to the task of getting the orders correct. When we got the total we even questioned the order but we're told we were getting what we ordered. Let me start by saying, i consider myself a Christian man and i would swear by my comments..with that being said let me start at the beginning..friday afternoon 7-31 around 6 or 7pm i went through the drive through at sonic in fitzgerald and ordered a medium cookie dough blast with *extra cookie dough* because in previous experiences the standard amount just didnt seem like enough..well i pulled off as i dug in and there literally wasnt any cookie dough in it..so i pulled back through and asked nicely for more, (but let me add the guy at the window was very polite he was just the middle man handing it to me), well i guess they thought i meant ice cream so they put more ice cream on top..so i circled back around and told them that it didnt have any cookie dough in it. He said well i might can get you another one, but i got a work call at that moment and was in a hurry so i said its ok thanks anyways(politely) and i left. I was gonna let that go, until tonight! Around 930pm i ordered the same thing in the stall, (WAS gonna be my birthday cake) but i said, and i quote "extra..extra cookie dough" well the first one i got was a milkshake i believe bc it had a cherry on top and it was liquid..so politely i asked to check if it was right..so she took it back and brought back supposedly the right order..And she never gave me a reciept so i asked for it, she went back inside and come back out with a reciept with just my total on it, no details of my order. But im a nice guy so i brushed it off and tipped her 10 percent anyways. I left and headed home but soon realized it was lacking cookie dough and literally half way down from the top was solid ice cream (keep in mind when you order extra, you pay extra) so i dropped my wife off at home and headed back to sonic... and here comes the passive aggressive attitude, and LAUGHS. I pulled up and ordered another blast with extra cookie dough..they begin to gather around inside pointing and laughing..once she brought me the blast i paid her $6.10 for 1 medium blast. Once again i had to ask for my reciept!. Before she walked away i asked if she would take my old one inside and show her manager, it was half full of solid ice cream. She walked in and handed it to a lady, which she looked out the window at me and started laughing as she through it in the trash. At the same time everyone around her starts laughing..total disrespect and very very unprofessional, especially if that was the manager. Im not one to make a scene so i drove away and now im here. This whole situation makes me look pety but they put people like me in this situation by consistantly be incompitent..point being if you pay for something i believe you should get it, without disrespectful laughs and lack of professional curtiousy to customers. Im not gonna say im never goin back to sonic blah blah blah, bc i like the food and drinks...but the employees there are the worst ive seen anywhere in a long time! I will say this, they better get it together by the time dairy queen opens..and this will probally get brushed under the rug but these instances wont stop until management takes action. read more

I was there at lunch and saw a remarkable difference than past trips. They were quick, accurate and the food was tasty. They even had a girl or rollerskates!!! Haven't seen that in years. Whoever is in control now has really improved on it's quality and service. Thumbs up to you :) read more
