1 star. I normally don't leave reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences we've had at a Sonic. We ordered 3 burgers and every single bun was so hard it felt stale and old. The burgers had no lettuce, no tomatoes, nothing on them. The fries were hard and tasted old too. My kids' Wacky Pack burger looked like it had been sitting there forever with an old dried-out patty. On top of the food being terrible, the customer service was rude from start to finish. We were told they "didn't have ice cream," yet the girl working the window was literally eating ice cream while telling us that. That just made the whole experience even more frustrating and unprofessional. Very disappointing experience, especially spending money to feed a family and getting poor quality food and bad attitudes in return. I would not recommend this location to anyone until they improve their food quality and customer service. read more

Every worker including the manager was high. We were there on a slow Sunday afternoon May 17 at 3 pm. It was dead. The girl at the window took the order because she couldn't seem to get the headphones, that she wasn't wearing, to work. She just kept pushing her ear. Her lips and tongue were bright blue, which I assumed was from a drink but I'm not so sure now. She took our order, unsweetened tea (medium) small ice and a route 44 Coke Zero. She came back and asked again. 10 mins goes by. Then another young man comes over, asks the order. We tell him. Then the manager comes and asks. We finally get the drinks after 22 mins. They were wrong. I am diabetic. So we park and hubby walks in. We are late for our event at this point. He goes in and gets the drinks replaced. The Coke Zero is a Dr Pepper ... the unsweetened tea is finally unsweet.... I call back to tell them, they just keep ganging up. I make a post on their local 411 page. This is a consistent issue apparently. They stay to high to function all the time. People don't ask for money back because it's just to much to deal with. Apparently both Sonics in town are like this! They get one star because I can't leave a negative amount! read more

Do not go to this Sonic. I have been here multiple times and consistently they will not bring out your food in a stall. You WILL have to go to the door and ask for your food and it will still take a while. We were staying the night in Carlsbad New Mexico. Got a craving for a sonic blast. Ordered 2 small sonic blasts which according to the sign said $3.59 each. Our bill came to $9.24 Which we questioned. The girl at the window when asked just shrugged and said sorry that's what it come out to. she handed us the receipt to look at which came to $4.29 each. We advised her what the menu said. She just shrugged and said I don't know what to tell you this is what it rings up as. Came here on vacation - this was near our hotel. We were impressed with the service times and portions. Drive-in experience is something to definitely try out at least once. The ladies whisper at the order menu making it impossible to hear them then they get mad if you raise your tone in order to increase vocal volume. We are frequent patrons of Sonics and have been to many across the country. Can I give this one 1/2 star???? Stood out front on patio waiting for someone to answer 5+mins and no answer. Went inside and asked about ordering. Manager said they couldn't take any orders until they got the food out that was waiting. Was dying for lime slushes so decided to wait it out as we were on long road trip with few stops in between. Pulled into a stall and again 10 mins before answering. As we waited pulled up Yelp comments...... oops. 15 mins before our drinkscame out. Waitress was friendly but a bit clueless. Oh my goodness this crew needs a lot of training! Everything we ordered was made wrong. Except the French toast sticks were correct. The triple chocolate only had 2 chocolates. The Heath bar vanilla blast was incorrect, good thing we liked Oreos in our vanilla. The chocolate shake was vanilla ice cream with a splash of chocolate syrup not spun very well.
