From the moment you walk in the door you feel the warm atmosphere as you are greeted by staff and begin to see and hear and smell the things which contribute to the culture of this facility. The staff obviously share a common mission, purpose, goals and truly care not only for the residents, but for families and for each other. The facility is always sparkling clean no matter what time of day you arrive you find your family member and their surroundings fresh, clean, neat and tidy. In addition there is a lovely secure outdoor area (seasonably available) with a lovely gazebo, which can be accessed from the living room and it is a lovely place for families to visit with their resident. I cannot express the level of gratitude that I feel towards Raluca and the staff. My mom is so much more content, she's more talkative and cheerful, and she's healthier now than she's been for the past few years (I think it's because the food they prepare is so fresh and healthy). Miriam the nurse is so attentive and caring and Raluca really understands the needs of her residents. The whole staff is so helpful and kind. It just feels positive there - it's always extremely clean, it smells good, and all the residents seem calm and happy. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

There's a lot of activities to do and people to meet. Puzzle room, exercise room, Ballard room, activities room for game-night and movie night. Before COVID they had holiday food to bring your family and birthday dinners to celebrate. Matt and Annie are wonderful and caring people who care about the residence here. I am knocking points off because the food. Lately the food has been extremely salty, no food should be this salty for seniors! There should be options for dietary preferences. Also, Gayle is very unpleasant whenever she's at the front desk. She's rude and need work on customer service.

It's put a real hardship on the senior residents and has been sad to see. Since Atria took over, they've also cut services. The staff has been nice but the new management company is profit hungry. The entire building has to share 4 washing machines. It's a nightmare trying to get a machine for laundry and there are frequent issues with it. There are constant issues with the bus service and only minimal short outings.
