The food is moderately priced, but very good indeed, home-cooked to order. This is somewhere you can go for a few beers with friends, has historically been popular with artists, musicians, professors and students, but shouldn't be missed by tourists either. Occasionally has live folk-music get-togethers. Same owner for over 23 years, who clearly is devoted to this wonderful establishment. High class it is not, but first class it most certainly is.

This said, it looks like even on busy nights the wait is no more than 15-20mins. The kitchen staff and servers are great, this is one of the most popular restaurant/bars in town, closes at 10:30, and shut Mondays. One of my favorites.
