When David of Solid Foundation Home Inspections arrived to inspect our house, he was incredibly thorough and came prepared with a variety of tools and gadgets none of the other professionals we've dealt with have used. For example, since we purchased our home last year, I had been smelling gas around our outdoor grill. The home inspector we hired at that time did not seem concerned about it and suggested just spray painting the rusty gas line to keep it from corroding further. The smell continued to nag at me, so we called the gas company to come check it out. The technician from the gas company did not find any problems, and he told us that since the line is outside it isn't a big deal. When David came to inspect our home, he had a sophisticated piece of equipment that effectively sniffed out a gas leak in the area. None of the other professionals we dealt with were able to find a problem, and I appreciate how thorough this company was in helping us solve the issue. David's inspection left us armed with a variety of such solutions, and I feel confident that we are now on top of a number of issues with our home that other professionals chose to sweep under the rug.
