Whenever I visit my friend in Lenzburg, we LOVE to come here and have fun and de-stress in the…read morewater. Here's a sequence of events: bring your own swim suit and towel; otherwise there is a rental fee. At the cashier, pay your fee (cash or cc). On Sundays, the fee is around US$ 33 and on all the other days it's US$ 31. In return for the fee, you get a bracelet which allows you to enter the turnstile and head to the co-ed locker room where there are dressing rooms, lockers, and bathrooms. Choose your locker by noting which lockers have the knob out. If the knob is "in", then it's occupied. After your locker choice, choose a dressing room and close both doors. After you change, shove everything into your locker except your towel. Before entering the water, you must shower first with your swim suit on. Enter either the pool or the hot tub and then you can either choose if you want to stay inside or continue on outside. If you choose outside, there are more stations. For my first station, there are jets on the edge of the pool and you rotate every time the light flashes. If someone does not understand the direction of the rotation and cuts in or goes in the opposite direction, I heard that a heated exchange can ensue. After the rotations, I went to the waterfall to get a shoulder massage. Next to the waterfall is a set of concrete stairs where you can climb up and go down the tube slide complete with flashing lights of which I did not care for. After entering the main pool, I went to the endless river and went around a couple times. Inside the endless river are circle jets where you can stand inside the circle and have a full body massage. After circling a couple times in the river, I headed over to the other edge of the pool with tubular lounge chairs that have spray jets which is probably my favorite station; just relax. Before 1 1/2 hours is up, you can rinse off and shower, if you brought your own soap. Return to the lockers and retrieve your clothes by pressing the wrist band onto the knob so it will unlock. Go to a changing room. Make sure to bring a bag for wet bathing suits and towel. There are hair dryers in the vanity area. Check out by 1 1/2 hours by folding up your wrist band and depositing it into the slot so you exit through the turnstile. Ahhhhhhhh.

I arrived with as much "stuff" as I thought I would need, toiletries, figuring I could shower after, blow dryer just in case they didnt have one, etc....well here goes my review. Pay and get a little electronic bracelet that allows you to enter what you have paid for. In addition, it allows you to have a locker and lock up your stuff. Silly me, I figured I could rent a towel there however, there was no towel in sight, so lesson learned. Everyone is required to shower before entering and the pool is nice, warm, bubbly, wasn't crowded ( I was there on a Tuesday)...we also entered the Japanese bath which was even warmer and even less crowded. Also near there is another whirlpool, also outside, probably just as warm but I didnt try it out. Nor did I try out the sauna since some guy walked out completely nude and it was enough of s shock to me that I didnt need to see what was waiting inside the sauna. My other issue is that there is no proper shower to get naked and shower in afterwards. After this I would have liked to, however all I could do was wash my hair in the communal shower in my bathing suit....the hair dyer I brought, French plug..forgot the Swiss adapter so I had to use their dryers....I have felt hand dryers stronger than these so it took a while to dry my hair and finally get out. I will try some other thermal spas before I go back to this one,, however, if I go back I will be more prepared. Towels , adapter......
