We wanted to get tattoos on the day of the Pearl Jam show - something to commemorate our trip, friendship, the spirit of the land and life in general. After a ton of research, and both of us having an affection for bird symbolism, we chose a version of the Thunder Bird. Knowing that the day of the show would probably be crazy, I called 3 weeks ahead to schedule a time. The artist I wanted (and hoped she would oblige and was available, fingers crossed!) was Hanna (Baptiste) Mooreman. We totally hit it off on the phone and we were set. Side note: For me, it's important to have a vibe/or connection with the tattoo artist and shop - we totally did! I sent a collage of Thunder Bird inspiration and wanted her to draw something from that. I wanted her style to come through in the drawing. Our sessions went perfect. While Hanna finished up the art, we went through the formalities of getting the paperwork complete. I went first and then my buddy. And with that, we were off to the sweet buzz of her tattoo gun. Hanna's line and dot work is awesome! We are super happy with the way it turned out. For color, I went with turquoise and my buddy went with red. See photos! She got us out in under 2.5 hours. After an awesome weekend with best friends and having that new tattoo for the Pearl Jam show, was one of the best. Thanks to Hanna and BBG for helping make that happen! The jewelry selection is fun and always growing and changing. Also gotten a few tattoos that I love and will be getting back in the chair soon. I've done several walk ins, called and been squeezed in same day, and scheduling an appointment online is always quick and easy. Everyone there is welcoming and helpful. I decided to take a chance with P.S.T. and I am very glad I did. I walked in on a Sunday morning and was pleased to see a bright shop with lots of jewelry options. I was greeted promptly by Trist'n. She is extremely knowledgeable and gave some really good suggestions about choosing a 10g rather than 8g. The 10g would leave more tissue and should probably heal faster. I was also VERY impressed with all the awards the folks at the shop have earned over the years. The shop has been around for many years and shows a lot of dedication on the part of the staff too. After paperwork and jewelry choice, she sterilized the jewelry and marked the spot for piercing. In truth, the piercing was nearly painless and before I left, she faithfully went over aftercare. I picked out a few other jewelry pieces from the large selection which Trist'n also sterilized. Next time I'm in town, I will be back. Thank you Trist'n!

It seemed professional at first until I noticed they don't even answer the phone at all, which was the first red flag, then I noticed they're only open for a very short amount of hours but still require you to book your own appointment online ahead of time which again is fine, however like I said before, Being from out of town, they had trouble finding the place and were a few minutes late. Either way, They were met with a very unprofessional attitude and rejected from their appointment. Whatever the reason it seems pretty minimal. These tattoo shops are getting worse and worse making things increasingly difficult to make an appointment if you're going to be rejected for being 15 minutes late. Especially when most of them don't even open until after 12.

The receptionist that I spoke to over the phone was very informative and very nice compared to the other places that I called that didn't really seem like they wanted to give me that much attention or answer any of my questions I had. My best friend and I showed up on time with our sketches of our little tattoos that we wanted to get we were matched up with a guest tattoo artist named Matt, Matt was super personable and very easy-going. Although our tattoos were very simple and straightforward he definitely took the time to consult with us for placement and thickness. Matt definitely showed agility with the space he was given to perform the tattoo as a guest artist but he made it work and perform too beautiful perfect tattoos that I will be so happy about forever.
