The shop was clean and the owner seemed to care when I gave him my feedback after service, but even for free I wouldn't go back. I went in for a gel fill. I had to point out multiple times that a couple of them had lifted and needed to have the gel removed where it was loose. At checkout for the $55 fill they tried to charge me an extra $5 for repairing the three lifted nails. Seriously??? I don't have tips, and my nails are barely longer than my fingertips...maybe 1/16th of an inch long so fixing them was no different than filling them.

Some of my nails are uneven and not straight. When I pointed it out, my nail tech said she would file them, but the alignment still wasn't fixed. I also had issues with some of the colors being used for the design. I specifically asked to avoid bright highlighter tones, but I kept being shown similar shades anyway. After repeating myself several times, I eventually just settled because it felt like my feedback wasn't really being heard. At one point, I asked for more yellow on the sides of the design, and instead of just adjusting it, she tried arguing with me about it before eventually adding the yellow. The nail art itself also came out sloppy in multiple places. Some of the designs look weird, uneven, or off center. The overall result was disappointing and feels low quality. At the end of the appointment, I just agreed that the nails were "cute" because I was uncomfortable continuing to go back and forth and wanted to avoid conflict. Unfortunately, the photos speak for themselves. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality, attention to detail, and professionalism when receiving customer feedback.

She gave me extreme attitude and asked when I'd be back, but the answer is N E V E R. Her response was so disrespectful and condescending that I wouldn't return even if it were free. I'm glad I trusted my instincts and went elsewhere. Maybe some clients don't mind nasty attitudes, but I did absolutely nothing to deserve being treated that way. Apparently just wanting simple polish was enough. If this is how they treat people who come in anxious and shy, I can't imagine how they'd act if there were an actual issue. Maybe their regulars are people who spend $100+ a visit, but I didn't realize it was unwelcome to want a basic pedicure.
