They have a security guard that watches the doors and checks bags upon entry. They do a great job of setting up the tables and decorations and making everything look nice. Oh, and when I called the front desk to complain, nobody answered. Went downstairs to talk to the front desk and nobody was there. Promptly packed our belongings, left the key in the drop box and left this dump. When I got home and tried to call and email, received no answer and a message that their system was down for maintenance. How convenient! It has been two days since I was able to successfully email them and nobody has even bothered to answer me. These people should be ashamed of themselves!!!!! I will be reporting this experience to everyone and anyone who will listen. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS DUMP!!!!!

I've always wanted to play this course but it's a bit pricey at $110 and over $75 on golf sites. I paid $47, which is a steal in late October. It's a private course that went public because of the economy. But be forewarned: DRESS APPROPRIATELY! You must wear golf pants and collared shirt. I wore collared gym gear because it was 34 degrees outside and was turned down so I had to buy appropriate clothing to play. My ignorance; my bad. The pros: gorgeous course with some of the best, fastest, most undulated, most manicured, and truest greens in Chicagland. Most holes are tight and straight with trees left and right and a few nice dogleg lefts and rights. There are plenty of soft bunkers protecting the greens and they are a delight to hit out of. The chicken sandwich is delicious although a bit pricey. The pace is amazingly fast; our 4some finished in less than 4 hours. The cons: very strict dress code, but members require it so I don't blame the staff. Short course at about 6600 yards. There are only 2 par 5's and one is super tight. A few more par 5's would be nice. Holes are poorly marked and there is no GPS. Its site says it's a hidden gem and it truly is. The course makes you use every club in the bag, and 3 putts can be the norm. We all loved the course and will be playing it as much as possible. 4 1/2 stars!

I have been given dirty looks, ignored, disrespected, not allowed to bring my coffee in, and given incorrect change back at both the store and bar. For the $ paid to get in that place I should be allowed to bring my own coffee in. Or if you are going to rip me off at the store or bar then don't complain that I want to bring my own drink in instead of attempt to buy from your facility. Also for the $ paid to get in they need to keep the place up. It is dirty, garbage laying every where, bathrooms are disgusting, and the floors and fields need some replacing. Which was also a lie of what Gloria told us when we signed the contract, At the end of the event the ladies who cleaned the place trash everything that was on the tables everything. They stole my dessert table holders they were rental from another place. So we told Gloria about it we never got an apology or nothing. Saturday away from this place really go somewhere else. I will never bring business to this place again.
