We scheduled a wine tasting tour while in Florence, " The Essence of Chianti full day wine tasting…read moreand lunch" through Prestige Rent, and it was wonderful! The bus was comfortable, during the ride to Tuscany, our guide Daniele, pointed out interesting sights, and made our trip very enjoyable. We visited 3 winery's, every one of them offered very nice wines and beautiful scenery. The food provided at each winery was delicious. Our bus driver, Antonio, made the trip very comfortable. We highly recommend the trip! At our drop off, we were unable to find a cab. Daniele, called 3 different cab companies and stayed with us until the cab arrived. Wonderful customer service.

I was able to WhatsApp them in the morning and a taxi was an available in 2 mins. I revived a call from the operator when the taxi arrived. it was a 15 mins drive. I had a small hand carry and a paper bag in the boot. The initial cost was €28 but the driver added €8 for the "call and luggage". I find that extortionate.

The taxi company card clearly have it written in their business card that it would cost €30 + luggage fees. We had two pieces of luggage. The total cost is then supposed to be €32. When we got to the airport the taxi driver said the cost was €44, even though the meter clearly indicated €32. He then proceeded to quickly erase the meter and to get impacient. After some unpleasant conversation we eventually ended up paying €40, since we had a flight to catch, knowing only too well that we were being robbed. We will never use on this taxi cab company again.

Our driver was exceptionally helpful, carrying some of our luggage to our apartment as the street was car free on weekends, so we had a short walk. Pick up at 3am a few days later was easy and prompt. Communication was maintained easily and the early morning drive to the airport was great. A top notch company that we will use again.
