Customer Service is terrible, to say the least...I have experienced poor communication skills, incomplete answers, lack of knowledge of services, and arrogance consistently over the past three calls with them. A huge management failure...they either don't realize how bad they are or they just don't care...either way, an extremely negative picture of the culture at Socket. read more

Awful service. 3rd time down today alone. No after hours, customer service or even online chat. FAQ page doesn't help at all. Was told this afternoon that my router needed to be reset and it would take about 15 minutes. It's been 4 hours. I had work to do and so did my wife and sure enough they can't be trusted. If only my apt complex allowed for someone else because they are a joke. read more

It's pretty cheap but u get what u pay for. Constantly between .1 and .2. Sometimes it goes up to 2.4 but still very slow. I'll probably switch to something faster even though Socket is local. CenturyLink will probably be what I switch to. read more

Socket Internet Service - My connection in the middle of town - Columbia, Missouri

Long time user since the 1990s. They have been declining in customer service and performance all this year. Recently they lost everyone's email folders then their system crashed so no access to email indefinitely. Rude customer Service with people who have no clue about their company. And yet, they still found a way to bill me for non-existent service. Don't bother with them, they will just disappoint you. read more

Really fast internet!! I was trying to decide between socket and century link- socket is wayyy more updated and modern. They use the amazon "eero mesh" smart router it's this small white pod that you install an app on your phone to control your devices etc. it's really handy. Customer service came to install and was a very friendly and helpful guy. read more

Technical support is incompetent. Internet rarely works, even with advertised 12 Mbps speed. Don't waste your time, energy or money.
