I live in an apartment and even…read morethough I witnessed a tenant trying to break into my neighbor's apartment, they took forever to come to the apartment and then wouldn't even talk to the tenant who tried to break in who has mental issues and a history of doing this!!! And the apartment he was trying to break into had a young girl by herself home alone. They were completely incompetent and gaslighting saying, "what do you want us to do? He didn't break in?" Maybe get off your lazy ass and go talk to him! Not only were they completely dismissive but so was their Sergeant. We pay WAY too much in taxes to have such a shifty police department! We also have a tenant that was drunk driving and they let him pull into our building and let him off. What!?!?! Who does that! He could kill someone!!!! And then when a tenant was passed out and urinating in our laundry room, they came and took her word for it: "she messed up her meds." This woman clearly has a history of substance use and needs help! Not to be enabled, which they're too lazy to do their job, they let anyone off. It's going to take a major catastrophe or law suit for these idiots to get it together. They are terrible!

Man how I don't miss Havertown's finest, nor the meter checkers( Rent-a-Cop). Now I am not saying…read moreALL of them are shysters but they do have some out there looking to hit a said quota. That or they are just flat out lazy to do their job right. I had just gotten a ticket in the municipal lot located next to Hoopty's Pizza claiming I had an expired meter. Now first off there are no longer meters in this lot, along with a majority of lots in the Havertown area. What there is now is a kiosk located at every entry point where you pay there. The way this works is , in case you don't know, once you find an available spot there is a number associated to that spot. This is your spot you are paying for at the kiosk, after you pay they issue you a receipt with the allotted time you have. Final step is to place said receipt, (a proof of payment) on your dashboard in plain view. Step 1: check , my number is 46 Step 2: check, $.25 cents for a half hour. (checked in at 8:47 am, expires 9:17 am) Step 3: check , placed in plain view showing payment. Now I was pretty hot about this , I had to take pictures of this . Now the first is Evidence A, and second is Evidence B. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I give you - Evidence A: What we have here is a ticket issued to me showing a Parking Meter violation at 9:09 am. Evidence B: The lazy attendant that can't see, or read showing I was well in the time frame of legal parking. I presented this to Officer Hagan (Havertown's finest) to handle. He did , he also apologized for the lack of effort put forth by the meter attendant. I found some kind of pleasure in making him STOP what he was doing , get him out of his rhythm , just for someone else error. Solid 2, until they invade Wawa and hang out by the coffee stations.

We have had so many different carriers over the years and she has the BEST personality!! She is so prompt and answers any questions we have. She helps us to understand the differences in our return mail that we don't understand and the little things we need to know when mailing certain things out. Shes so knowledgeable about her job. The entire building here loves her from the other businesses as we have mentioned to each other how we like her. We always can count on her at the same time to be here so we know when to have our mail ready. She never mixes up any mail like other carriers have. She has shared the personal touches from her homes she delivers too with very quick info on how much she enjoys her route and the personal touch she has with the homes and very quick cute stories of the people. You can tell she enjoys the route and her customers. I hope that she gets recognized for the great job she does and the great personality she brings to the office when she stops in. You have a quick, knowledgeable, very kind bubbly, fun, personable (which is is important), professional employee that I really wanted to make sure to recognize for her very hard work. Others could lead by her example of what matters to your customers. The one thing I forgot to mention that has been important to our office is that even though we dont have mail for the day she always stops by to see if we have outgoing mail. Old offices before wouldn't do that and its important to us as we will have outgoing mail that cant sit here if someone skips coming in when we don't have mail. So the fact that Patti does that is actually important and stands out to us. We want to thank Patti for her little things that matter and the personal touch she brings to her customers.

However, this should not be the end-all for keeping track of packages. They could not search any information to help me figure out why AT&T has yet to receive my iPhone. There is no motivation nor concern to rectify their incompetency. The clerk was utterly unprofessional. Sarcastically saying "You're so bright, you don't have your tracking number" I was required to use USPS in this instance. Yet, I will continue to never support them. Depressed, given-up on life, and cynical these employees are.

Friday - May 31, 2013 - 11:30AM…read more When packages needed delivery, I patronized the Manoa post office in the Manoa Shopping Center. Unfortunately, the Manoa post office is closed. The Havertown post office is habitually crowded and the sparse parking is frustrating. I was leaving a business at Loehmann's Plaza in Drexel Hill when I recognized the ever familiar post office logo. I conducted business here years ago and forgot its existence. I immediately drove home and placed contents into a box and returned. It's a small but, serviceable facility with plenty of free parking in the middle of the lot. I completed the appropriate forms and submitted same with the package. I asked a postal worker for the cost of sending the package at the cheapest rate. The employee weighed the package and declared a $5.80 fee. He indicated that the package would be received by the recipient perhaps as early as the next day. He was efficient and professional but indifferent. (If I had his job, I'd feel the same) I was skeptical about the next-day delivery but paid the fee and exited. The next morning the recipient received the package. Say what you wish about the postal service. I was satisfied with the results. The post office is sandwiched about the middle of the plaza set between unrelated businesses. My new go-to place for package shipment.

The clown in this dept. told me that he couldn't do this, and that I had to go through a channeler cogent from the dept. of Education or that I had to go to a different police station that does finger prints for me. Little does he know- South korea does not accept criminal back ground checks from channelers. They will only accept a CBC from the FBI, (and only if they're apostilled ugh, the process is annoying!) and in order for me to get that, I had to get my fingerprints to get my official criminal background check. He said that since it's for a teaching position overseas he couldn't do it. Was this guy for real? He probably thought that I wanted to get my background check done there- (which I didn't because it's impossible and that's not the way it works-) but when I tried to explain to him the process, he didn't want to listen. He was condescending the whole time because he thought he was right. Normally I wouldn't tell someone how to do their job, but this guy did not know what he was doing and while I was on the phone with him, he had to ask someone else how to do his job. UGH! And to top it off- You'd think since we're paying for their services, that they'd learn some social skills. PS I went to the Havertown Police Dept. to inquire about the fingerprinting dept. and they were helpful. I also called the Ardmore police dept. to inquire about fingerprints (shopping around for the best price cuz it costs around 35 dollars to get finger prints) and I also had no issues. The only one I had a problem with was the Upper Darby Police station. Go figure.
