Well what can I say, you're either Beetlejuice or you're out within 15 minutes. They opened up at 9. I was out within 15 minutes. They actually opened up I think 15 minutes earlier because there was a line. There's a worker that asks you what you need, will give you a number, and you will go sit down then wait till they call you. Thanks for Reading. ~Liz~ :)

Pamela helped a family member of mine many years ago (early 2000's). I had a chance to meet her in person back then too. I have never forgotten Pamela Vincent's hard work and compassion (even though I've not had contact with her all these years) and to this day I still make referrals.

However, there was a shift in conversation once I mentioned the amount of funds I was to be awarded if I were to win the case...suddenly the conversation was curt and she felt an urgency to have me sign paperwork that would automatic award her 25% if I win. I don't know if she became busy or what and in her defense, if I don't win, she doesn't receive anything either, but I digress. As the conversation went on, it didn't feel sincere (you know that gut feeling?), which made me feel unsettled about working with her and looked elsewhere. I get that it's a business and she has to make money like everyone else, but we're talking about my future income here. I don't think she's a bad attorney, she just wasn't the one for me. Ultimately, like anything in life, you'll have to get a feel for situations and encounters to determine that for yourself. Basically what I'm saying is to talk to her before making a decision.

I paid $300 for a consultation with Ms. Leiva after providing extensive, carefully organized…read morematerials concerning an I-751 waiver case. Before I paid for the consultation, Ms. Leiva specifically identified several issues in my materials that she said warranted closer evaluation, including my husband's anger outbursts, immigration-related threats, my lack of access to household financial information, and financial/account-related conduct I discovered after separation. She also stated that a paid consultation would allow her additional time to address my specific questions regarding waiver strategy, evidence, and presentation.Unfortunately, the initial written assessment I received after the paid consultation was very general and vague, and did not clearly answer any of the four specific questions I had submitted in advance. I had to send a follow-up asking for direct answers and recommendations. To her credit, Ms. Leiva then provided a substantially more specific response. However, I was particularly disappointed by the treatment of the evidence. Considerable attention was given to explaining that my husband's unrelated prior criminal history did not itself establish battery or extreme cruelty -- something I had never suggested. Meanwhile, significant facts that Ms. Leiva herself had identified before the consultation as warranting closer evaluation, including the anger outbursts and post-separation financial/account-related conduct, were not addressed in her final assessment. This was especially concerning to me because the post-separation conduct included identity theft that resulted in debt being created in my name. Whether Ms. Leiva ultimately considered that evidence legally significant or insignificant, I expected it to be analyzed given the stated scope of the consultation and the fact that she had specifically identified this category of conduct beforehand.Ms. Leiva ultimately recommended the good-faith marriage/divorce waiver rather than proceeding now under battery/extreme cruelty, and her follow-up did provide some useful information regarding filing while a divorce is pending. However, overall I did not feel that the consultation reflected a sufficiently careful analysis of the materials I had provided. Based on my experience, I would not retain or recommend this attorney for an I-751 case.

From that first conversation, Adam was steady, sharp, and reassuring, and he has been ever since. If you're looking for a family law attorney in San Francisco, he's the call to make. What stands out most is his integrity. Adam tells you the truth and gives you advice you can actually trust. He leaves you feeling looked after rather than worked over. He also knows this world cold. He's seasoned and genuinely fluent in the local courts, the process, and the people in it, and it shows. Even when the other side gets aggressive, Adam stays calm and clear-eyed, translating all the legalese into plain, practical guidance you can act on. He's responsive, reachable, and steady exactly when you need someone steady, which, in a divorce, is roughly always. Just as important, he's consistent. His guidance never wavered, and he followed through, start to finish. He treats clients like people, not case numbers, or billable hours, and he clearly cares about how things turn out. I always trusted that his advice was in my genuine interest. I can't recommend Adam highly enough. If you want someone exceptionally competent, ethical, reasonable, and genuinely on your side, call him. Preferably or hopefully not on Valentine's Day.
