After four years of my daughter attending this gym we have left…read more There were a couple of classes where a young male substitute teacher taught her class whom I thought was extremely rude. My daughter was uncomfortable because she's never had a male teacher and she is quite shy to be in with. When she won't give him a high five he would make her feel uncomfortable. I thought maybe things would change once she was more comfortable around him. She had one make up class to use before it expired. They only class that was available was with this teacher. I told him I signed her up for his class which he seemed happy. Now to the day of her makeup class. My daughter asked a question that he would not answer her. At the same time two other girls ask similar questions that he answered right away. He made her stand in the middle of the class until she answered her own question. This happened a second time but to make it worse he stopped the whole class to answer another girls question and again made my daughter stand to try to answer her own question. He then told her to go do something and get out of the way. This is not her normal class so she was not use to his style of couching. She did not want to return if her normal teacher was not going to be there because this young male teacher was her back up. It got to the point she would ask her teacher if she will be here next week. If he talked to students like this when there parents are sitting right there I can't imagine how he treats the girls when their parents aren't there. We started looking for another gym because she was so uncomfortable. We finally found one that she will make her new home. My daughter had one last class before her monthly enrollment was up. As we walked out she was really sad. We talked for a couple of minutes. She had a change of heart and wanted to talk to her teacher about what happen. There was no compassion towards my daughter. I was told that she doesn't want to discuss this matter that she thinks very highly of him. Also, he was her back up. She didn't let her discuss what happen or I am sorry that happen or I am sorry you felt that way. After this we walked out knowing we made the right decision to leave a gym after four years and almost $3000!

Just had my 5 year-old's birthday here last weekend. Andy did an amazing job with the kids! We had…read more13 total kids. He led all birthday activities from start to finish with the kids and just made it easy to enjoy the afternoon. Also, the kids had an absolute blast! Both of my daughters (5 and 3 years old) have also taken classes at GM and they have had great experiences. They both love the classes and are much more confident with physical motor skills.

Today we attended yet another birthday party here for a daughters' classmate. Here are my…read moreobservations in update.. With the rearranging of the picnic tables, the small party space now seems to be a bit bigger. Upon arrival I was pleased to see it decorated per the parents decorations, so it would appear my last review was taken into account by letting future parties in a few minutes before to decorate. Staff was very polite & helpful. Again, not much has changed in leu of decor. Walls surrounding the skate floor look like they were painted by a toddler. I don't think it would cost the owner much to think of a more aesthetic alternative. Perhaps let artists from the local high school have at it? As for the food.. imagine my surprise when the parents didn't bring their own pizza & instead opted for a dozen 6" mini pizzas from the snack bar. I watched dumbfounded as the staff shuffled the pizzas between two microwaves. Every food item available seems to be nuked, there are no fryers that I see. I ordered my son some mozza stix, they had a really strange taste.. I hope they're not expired or bad. I'll update my review should we get sick later. All in all, the kids had a good time. I think with a few more improvements, this place could be great!

The Club for Gymnastics is a special gym. You can really tell how much the coaches care about the…read morekids and want to see them do well. They do a great job of encouraging gymnasts while still pushing them to learn new skills and challenge themselves. It's also really cool to see how much gymnastics can build confidence, strength, and discipline along the way. They also have a wide range of programs so there is a place for every kid. Definitely recommend checking them out!

We had our wedding reception at the Kickers and could not have been more pleased with our experience. Food was great, service was excellent and an exceptional value. Booked a session with an instructor for hitting online. Got there for the lesson and paid $90 up…read morefront just to wait until going back out to ask where the instructor is and turns out he hasn't been working there for 2 weeks. They couldn't call or notify us in anyway before driving there. To top it off they couldn't refund me on the spot and have to wait for them to reach out to pay my refund. If it had been that long the guy doesn't work there why have it on your website still and why not call people when you see the appointments are booked. Complete joke

This place is an absolute dive of an ice rink... not that that's bad in any way. We came here for a…read moretournament game and it happened to be while they were in the midst of construction. The rink we were on was chilly, plus it was freezing outside, but there were some overhead heaters that really helped keep in comfortable. The ice was not good here, even after the Zamboni cleaned it up. There were a lot of gashes and divots that caused some stumbling. We won the game, so the rink wasn't a factor, but I wish there was better parking and better eats. I'm sure this place will be up to par after construction, so don't take my rating as final.
