In town for a wedding and needed to get a run in as I'm training for a 10K. The good: this place…read morehelped me get the job done. This is a large sports complex with hand ball courts, a lap pool, a running track, and more. One of my cousins recommended the running track here. Parking was plentiful and found a spot close to the entrance. Arrived at about 2PM with my husband and I had the running track all to myself. The track is in great shape, most likely made out of rubber type material because it felt springy. There was a cyclist doing laps around the edges and that was cool to see. Overall, I felt pretty safe here but I wasn't by myself.
The bad: traffic is bad so give yourself enough time no matter where you are coming from. Also, this one is not in the greatest of neighborhoods so don't leave visible valuables in your car. With that said, don't wear anything flashy carry only what you need on you. There are restrooms within the complex and they seemed clean; however, there is no toilet paper or paper towels so bring your own. I had to improvise;). There was also no running water from the faucets. Fortunately, I was able to flush the toilet.
Overall we had a pleasant experience and would return.
