I loved my horse, the area and the rain but the stables has some problems. It was easy to make reservations and lady was very polite on phone. Horses looked healthy but needed trim and shoes. Very messy tack barn and even worse office where you check in and sign liability waiver. When I arrived 20 minutes early there was the lady( phone person) and male wrangler on site. I was checked in and was told there was a group coming. I asked and was told I could feed horses carrots which I did while waiting. At scheduled time the group hadn't arrived even thought they ask you to come 15 minutes early. After another 15 minutes I was finally given a horse and I asked what happened to the other people and they said that they thought it was the next day. During this whole 30 minutes the wrangler and the lady were talking and didn't bother to keep me updated or socialize with me ,The Customer! The ride was beautiful and even though it rained the entire ride I was ok as I had rain jacket, hat and gloves on. I paid for 1.5 hours but only rode for 55 minutes as we stopped under trees for rain to let up and returned early. When I questioned wrangler about leaving late( waiting for group) and returning early he said " I try not to look at my phone" meaning I don't know how long we where out. . I paid for 1.5 hours and that's what I wanted. Seems like almost every time this happens! Give the customer what they pay for. Improve on customer service, clean up the place and check the time when you leave the barn. More people would go riding if they felt they got the service they paid for. Be appreciative of customers . Also when we arrived back the 8-10 horses tied up where left alone for our entire ride as lady drove off after we mounted and was still gone when we returned. Not safe. read more
