My husband and I just rented an apartment…read morehere a few months ago in Hailey, ID - there are not enough parking spaces - they rented too many apartments out with not enough spaces and are telling people to park on the street. They own many apartment complexes in California and one in Idaho. They have zero plan for when snow hits and basically told us it isn't our problem where we're going to park in the winter. We tried to rent another space and they told us no, we tried to get our one spot moved closer to our apartment and they told us no. They are adding 30 spaces now and still told us that we won't be able to rent another parking space. They also don't answer the phone and I wasn't able to leave the maintenance department a voicemail, to a lady named Caroline who cuts off the phone call and doesn't allow for voicemails. Save yourself the trouble - do not sign a lease with these people - they do not care about you.

I am tired of my life being in great danger for more then one reason. I was told I could smoke…read moreinside my apt with a few rules. window open, fan to blow smoke out and so on. Now being told I can not and the smoking area was outside and has been moved allot. Now it is far away and no protection from rain, snow, wind and it is very cold. There is 2 apartments here and one should be smoking and one non smoking. But that is to much to ask. better if they say no smoking and endanger the people who smoke then those who do not smoke. I am tired of the BULL and tired of my life being put endanger and people to cheap to correct the smoking area. no roof or walls or heat for smokers to put it very mildly. I was told I could smoke inside before I moved in now being threatened to be evicted if I do. A dr told me over 30 years ago to smoke due to my seizures it was the lesser of the two evils.
