Let me start by saying I have always been a big Snooze fan, but this location's service is extremely disappointing almost every time. Today is my birthday. I was so excited to go in and have a little birthday brunch to get my day going! It's a Tuesday and they had the restaurant (inside) filled to probably almost half capacity. We stood at the host stand waiting to be seated. Waited some more. What looked like the bartender came towards us, thinking surely he'll help us. No good morning. No someone will be right with you. He walks outside and starts wiping the tables off outside. So, we wait. He comes back in, says NOTHING. Goes back to the bar. Another lady is out on the floor at this point, looks at us, says nothing and goes to a table to chat with them. I look at my boyfriend and said let's go. I don't want to feel disappointed today. He said maybe they'll help us in a second, but I looked around and there's two tables sitting with their cards in their hands wanting to pay, but no check has been dropped. Another table sitting since we walked in, no waters, no drinks, clearly ungreeted after being sat. All the tables have their empty dirty plates still on them, not even prebussed. Clearly lacking service. I said nope, it's my birthday and I will not waste it waiting to even be told hello. So we left! I just don't know how a simple I see you, I'll be right with you is so hard. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and good food - even for a vegan. Only quirk is they offer a breakfast special that requires a manager's approval supposedly because employees were somehow able to pocket cash. Can't figure out the scam and seems they have driven productivity costs into the system by requiring the approval. Same thing at the Tempe location. read more

Located in the heart of downtown Gilbert is this gem of a breakfast spot. My husband and I had a job pretty early in the morning and decided to catch breakfast right after. Lots of parking in the surrounding area. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated right away. There were tons of outside seating but we opted to sit inside as the temperatures are rising. If you do decide to sit outside, they have misters all around. Our server, I believe her name was Sabrina? She was great!! Friendly and gave us great recommendations. We decided to order a little bit of everything because one, we were hungry and two, we have children that we knew would wake up and be hungry. My husband ordered the crab Benedict with a side of hash browns and bacon and I ordered the habanero pork belly fried rice. We also got an order of the bread pudding French toast. We both enjoyed our breakfast very much. The fried rice was different, loved the crispy fried edge on the egg. I would say a little too much on the veggies and pineapple. If I could make a recommendation, I would say add more rice and pork belly! Again, we both loved it and had almost a full order of the French toast and bacon to take home and it was devoured in no time. Our kids loved it and asked where we went. Oops! So I really try to go for locally owned spots when I'm traveling but Snooze is pretty darn good so I decided to take my grandparents for a Saturday morning breakfast. I've been to locations in Austin and San Diego but this is the first time I had the opportunity to use the Yelp Waitlist and I was so excited to see it working. We arrived early and were sat quick but by the time we finished the line was really stacking up. We sat on the front patio but when I went to use the bathroom I got a look at the rest of the space and it was so much larger than I was thinking. Service was fantastic and everything came out quickly. I went for the breakfast plate with eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and a pineapple pancake on the side. It was way too much food. Three eggs alone to start along with a full sized pancake. We all got coffee and the coffee was decent but nothing special. Overall the food was good, prices are reasonable, and I loved using the Yelp Waitlist! read more

Thought it was going to be spicer but nevertheless a really good eggs Benedict. Highly recommend. Service 5/5: Our server (Jessie) was really nice, friendly, and would check on us regularly. Other servers would also ask and the whole staff is really friendly, upbeat and nice. Environment 5/5: when we looked up this place on yelp there was an 1 hour wait and it makes sense. This is a perfect brunch environment. There are a back patio and a front patio plus inside seating. Everything was spaced out so we had enough space between tables. I was craving an mushroom omelette for breakfast and a St Germaine Spritz. Our server recommended the verde and it was awesome on my eggs! Someone in our group got a Benedict with balsamic and spinach ... another got the hash. They looked good. We all shared the pancake trio and tried the limited / daily pancakes (mint chocolate... so good!, blueberry crumble (yum!) and a pineapple upside down (tasty!). We picked a good variety and this was something fun to share with a group. I normally always want savory for breakfast, but sharing these was something I'm happy we did! As always I love coming here it is so relaxing on the outside patio and a perfect place to get some brunch. Our server was awesome let's just start with that. The food was excellent as usual, and the atmosphere was filled with singing birds. Like a fairytale brunch. I ordered three eggs, hashbrowns and substituted the bacon for avocado. I wanted bell peppers and cheese in my hashbrowns and they did a spectacular job incorporating all the ingredients, and the presentation was very nice indeed. I requested a little bit of whipped cream to top my coffee and my server was more than happy to bring me some. He was super friendly which made of the dining experience that much more enjoyable. I am literally typing this while sitting in the parking area! To say the service was bad would be an understatement, it was absolutely HORRIBLE! To start we were told it would be a 25min wait to sit outside. It was more of a 40min wait and we were seated inside. That is what it is. But, what they don't tell you is once you are seated it is another 50 MINUTES BEFORE YOU RECEIVE YOUR FOOD! We were seated at 12pm my son finished his drink around 1210, not once did our waitress ask if he wanted a refill and she passed by us 3-4 times before we our food was delivered. We never even got or was offered water!!!! And the food, laughable. Don't waste your time or spend your hard earned money here! read more

Our first poor experience at Snooze. Came in for breakfast, checking in on our way via yelp which is great and made our wait only 15 minutes once we got there. Unfortunately once we were sat things went downhill, wife ordered nitro cold brew- they were out- so she ordered iced americano with a side of half and half. I ordered the spicy breakfast margarita. My margarita had absolutely no spice in it which was disappointing and my wife never got her half and half after asking twice and I had to go inside and request it. For food my wife ordered the garden harvest omelet with no mushrooms but was told the asparagus is mixed with the mushrooms so they couldn't remove them (even though asparagus was an option for the byo omelet. She did the byo omelet with veggies instead. I did the breakfast tacos and my son did the GF pancake with fruit and daughter scrambled eggs with fruit. The food was good, the breakfast tacos are hands down the best thing on the menu. My son loved the gf pancake but they did not have peanut butter which was disappointing (they have had it in the past). Overall service was lacking and we had to ask multiple times for certain things. Lastly (and yes I realize this is my fault for not looking first), I assumed the bill was accurate and just gave her my card. When I went to sign I noticed we were charged for the kids meals wrong (side of fruit and side of eggs was $9 when kids meals should be $7.50) and my sons pancake was all of the sudden $6.75 (gf apparently is not an option for kids pricing) and fruit side was $4.50- so his kids meal was $11.25. Overall we absolutely love the gf options and the breakfast tacos but we'll probably wait awhile before returning. read more

The "Plant Power" menu selection has lost its steam. Our family comes here because of the quality, fresh food and wide selection... and it's vegan-paradise choices. This place held the title for indulging my veggie-loving palate at breakfast. Importantly, I counted on Snooze for dishing up tasty, filling breakfasts that helped me dodge eggs. In the past, I've loved!!! the roasted veggies over quinoa, and also the veggie tacos. The veggies were always graced with tangy sauces that were over the moon with flavor. Now, the menu only includes grilled veggies in an egg scramble. The poor waitress had to do computer gymnastics to adjust the dish, replacing eggs with tofu. The current dish was well flavored with a red chile sauce, but it didn't make me want to sing on a mountain like an enraptured Van Tramp. Just not captivating like the dishes I once enjoyed, and no range of vegan dish selection like before. Please, for the love of healthy plants and people, bring back the clever veg-worshiping dishes I once enjoyed!!! It was such a great way to start the day. I like Snooze. First experience with this restaurant was one in Austin, Texas. Same concept and menu here. You can really carb load at this place, not too many "healthy" dishes, buts that's ok, they know who they are and deliver on that. Like the completeness of the menu for breakfast items. Coffee is just "ok" by me; hyped up maple glazed bacon is over-the-top and not fit for my dog. Even the "plain" bacon tastes kinda funny liked some kind of rub or liquid smoke used on it, and it's a bit limp (not crisp) for me. Their porridge bowl is quite good as are the omelets. Service is average. The back patio where I sit with my dog is large and close to good parking, but the flies and Grackle birds are pretty aggressive. read more
