History

Established in 2006.

We've always focussed on ensuring our customers get the most out of their skiing and snowboarding holidays. We started almost a decade ago, when SNO began life as the world's first "mobile" ski resort guide sno.mobi - a mobile website which worked on any phone (even dumb-phones) back when there were very few mobile websites. Scroll back through our blog to see our early days taking SNO to the alps with our young family. Building our guide to the wonderful ski resorts of the world, we quickly realised that the best way to serve snow lovers was to expand our help to before you travel. To help when you're choosing your resort and holiday accommodation in the first place. We found the best consumer protection in the travel industry, joined the TTA (Travel Trust Association) and the rest is history. Now our dedicated team of experts toil ceaselessly to find every customer the absolute best possible ski holiday for their needs and budget.

Meet the Business Owner: SNOman ..

Our founder believes that travel is the most enriching experience the world has to offer. Our mission is to remove every possible friction, so that travellers can focus entirely on enjoying this wonderful experience. Richard's passion for travel came from running the BBC's "Holiday" programme and his focus on the customer from early days as a consumer journalist at "Watchdog". Q: What's the best thing about travel? A: The people... it's always the people that you meet. I believe that universally accessible travel may well be the key to better understanding and tolerance worldwide. Q: What's the best thing about working at SNO? A: We have a master-plan we're all working towards it. It's exciting to focus only on making people's travel amazing. When we won the World Snow Awards, our approach to our customers was quoted in the Telegraph winners piece as "Booking should be as exciting as Going!" and I think that says it all. We want to enable awesome travel, at every touch-point.
