The manager at the time, no idea who he was, came around the counter and was berating Derick. He kept telling him to spit it out but Derick anaconda'd the entire thing. It looked so painful. "YOU GOTTA SPIT IT OUT!" the manager yelled at him. His eyes were filled with tears and his entire face was purple but I swear to God that he did it. I thought he was legit gonna die. He said his throat was sore for like two weeks after. Derick and his husband live in the Bay Area now and I think he works for like Google, which is hilarious because he was so stupid in high school. College turned him into a tech wiz or something, honestly I'm not sure exactly what his job is. But he was a legend. "Derickburger" was his nickname for the next few years of college lol. I've never had kosher sushi before but wow it was good. One of the rolls we ordered was the JoJo XL and I highly recommend. It's definitely a casual restaurant, they give you your order in plastic takeout sushi boxes and give you plenty of sauces and paper plates. Food was made super fast tho! Wish I had this place close by to me in South Jersey
