I had to redo the window by hand. The service attendant sat behind the dumpster smoking for the 20 minutes I was there waiting for a vacuum that worked. I think they are rude and many years, and hearing the same line, I will never go back. There is a carwash (Budget Carwash) further down Botany road who charge the advertised price and do a good job. The Gold Star car wash should put up a sign that says you need to wash your car before you bring it to them otherwise $30 will be added to the advertised price. Today they wanted to charge me $85 because it was dirty. The budget Carwash did a good job for $45. My advice, do not go anywhere near this place

My car has always been $55 for a silver wash. I drive a Golf which has always been classed as a small car. I was charged $60 today (for a medium sized car) and an extra $5 for the bugs. When I went out to the car, the bugs did not even look like they had been touched. The poor kid who dries the cars got a cloth and basically rewashed the front of my car. So I paid 20% more than I ever have before and the result was shocking. I won't be back.

They have quite a few staff but I think the number of parking spaces they have allocated to them prevents them from getting any bigger. I always found these guys to be cheap, reliable and really friendly. I dropped in the other day after spotting some chewing gum stuck to the side of the car. The owner quickly grabbed some gear and removed it and then polished around it to make sure there was no residue - then he refused to accept any payment for it! Its in the bottom level of the crapark so it's quite handy to be able to drop off the car and then go do some shopping.
