As one could assume from the name, the restaurant focuses on grilled cuisine. Many combinations of various meats prepared in different ways makes for a very good meal. We had the Sinie Tehran platter for two (three different kinds of meat skewers laid on flat bread, 4 sides, and 2 types of rice). The kebabs were delicious and condiments were good too. Good spot for a relaxed sit-down dinner or take away.

The salad bar is right at the entrance, a great idea and gave me that elusive value for money feeling in stockholm - lovely tahini! A sure-fire way to sate any falafel-related cravings you might be having..

We stumbled in largely by chance looking for a place to sit down out of the sun to have a bite of…read moresomething healthy to eat. All of the nearby eateries had been packed with tourists. I could sense the herd mentality from the staff at those locations. When we walked in it was empty downstairs. We asked if there were any vegetarian options, and we were told that it was a vegetarian restaurant. That sealed the deal for us! Just head in and fix up a small plate of salad items (olives, turnips, pickles, etc) to much on while you review the menu. (This must be in place to take the edge off crabby tourists and hungry locals.) Find a table, review the menu, and place your order at the counter (when you're ready, of course). We ordered a Falafel plate and a hummus plate to share, and the portions were very generous. The meals are simple, made from fresh local ingredients, and skillfully prepared. The result is a perfect dish. My wife (lifetime vegetarian) said this may have been one of her best meals of this trip, and the best hummus she had ever had. The simplicity and rich character of the dish was really great. Unfortunately we didn't find this place until our last day in Stockholm, and could only try two dishes. When we left, there had been a few more couples sitting outside on the beach chairs that were set up under umbrellas (on astroturf!). I believe this was a new restaurant that recently opened. If you're nearby be sure to try it. P.S. No pubic WIFI, which seems to be the norm in Stockholm.

When it comes to food, their dishes also lack any garnish & are not very well presented. We tried their Koobide & Barg. I didn't give this review any less star because compare to what you get prices are pretty fair.

However, having been here a few times the meats used in the 'djuje' (chicken kebab skewer) are not of the same quality of that of the dinner (and for this they get 4 stars). If you go for lunch and aren't turned off by red meat you should get the 'kobideh' (spiced ground beef skewer). I have noticed no difference in quality between lunch and dinner. Also, their 'doogh' (similar to ayran) was very tasty and free with lunch. Dinner is a different experience. Everything is more expensive. In fact, too expensive for what you are getting (around 400-500kr) for two people. That said though, this is by most accounts, the best Persian food you will come by in Stockholm
