I…read morepersonally would prefer if their childrens books were located downstairs, but the selection they have available is wide and being upstairs it keeps them from getting in the way of other shoppers in this fairly narrow shop. It is possible to park for free in front of the shop, which has spaces for a few cars, but be warned it is very tight to manouvere in when busy, so I would suggest just using the Tower Centre car park even if you have to pay for an hour - much safer and less stressful.

They offer invoicing services to local churches and Sunday schools and have good bargains on 'end of line' stock. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited to a small carpark at the front of the shop which inconsiderate people who don't want to pay 40p for the Tower Centre car park often use, but it is within easy walking distance of the paying car park.

Staff are quite rude at times and have a serious lack of knowledge regarding music. Prices are high and if you have time try Camerons records instead or even better try online. It always seemed reasonably…read morebusy at the stationery/paper/magazines part, but I guess as the bulk of the fairly large store was given over to Books, then if they didn't do well with those, business would be difficult, especially as nowadays it is often cheaper to buy books online or in shops such as Bargain Books.
