I like Smoothie King but this location is always packed with a long line. I recently came here for a smoothie-based coffee drink. When I got my drink, it was completely all loose liquid. I asked one of the staff members to remake it and I was told to pull in front of the store. I waited for a good 10-15 minutes and they finally brought it out. I tried it again and it was filled with a lot of ice chunks. I went to the door and asked the supervisor for a refund. It's sad because I've waited almost an hour (with the long wait in drive-thru) and couldn't enjoy a nice, refreshing beverage. This location can use some work. read more

"Pineapple spinach - plant based... you're unsure what you have on your menu? Yes. That IS the name of it, did you change the name? Clearly that's the name of it. I order all the time." He pops off and say - "Ohhh no, you aren't going to talk to me like that! Good bye! Byeeee!" I was shocked, like - WTH!! Why is he pissed because he don't know the menu? So,I sit there... 3 mins - I made up in my mind THEN... I'm NOT MOVING! He comes back on the speaker "What are you having?"I say the SAME THING - Plant-based pineapple spinach. He responds .... "Pull around!" I get to the windows and he's telling me no such thing, that's not the name... but they have a vegan smoothie. I look at him like - ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Even if someone tell you a "vegan" smoothie - your next question will be, which one correct?? Correct?? No smoothie is name "vegan" itself... it's pineapple spinach. He then walks off and a lady come to the window and ask - "How can I help you?" I ask her is she a manager(pictured with her back turned - she's behind the RUDE guy). She states yes. At this point I'm ticked.... I tell her how RUDE her employee was and did they NOT -according to their menu board- have a plant based pineapple spinach - I order it all the time. She said it's called a vegan but let me look... ‍. I say, you still will need to know what kind??!! She then say - We don't have time for lectures, I'm trying to help with your order. Well excuse the sh*t out of me. At that point I seen WHY the store is poorly ran, and can't keep employees!!! The managers attitude SUCKS too! I say again, can I please order my smoothie - I have somewhere to be, and have already messaged around too long on a simple order... I proceeded with ordering and substituting juice bases and blends... the manager then say.... You might should have gotten another smoothie with some many substitutes. This location has always taken a very long time to get service done. The employees are a revolving door and always have a poor attitude. I have been disrespected a handful of times. For whatever reason, unbeknownst to me, the aborigines show no care for service, respect, or common decency. This place needs serious help and I'm concerned for anyone that goes in. This morning at 8:45am I came into this smoothie king. A women was the only person working at this time and she greeting me by saying. We only have 6 smoothies due to the water advisory and started to name those smoothies really fast. I barely heard what she said. Following that she refused to repeat the list again so I chose the first smoothie she yelled out which was angel food. I asked her if she could use almond milk instead of regular milk. She said "we out of it". Then I asked for regular strawberries, so said "we only have the soaked strawberries". Next I questioned her about why were y'all out of everything, and I asked to speak to a manger. She says "I am the manager, and you can leave". Visited at 3pm on Sunday, Feb 26, 2023. Was very disappointed to wait over 25 minutes in the drive through line for (1) smoothie. Two cars behind me drove off as soon as they could. The one car behind me, the lady was blowing her horn several times and at one point got out of her car and approached the pickup window to see what the hold up was. When I finally got to the pick up window, the worker said it was three of them working but really no explanation as to why it took 25 minutes to make a smoothie. I just went through the drive through and the woman asked for a minute which is no problem. She comes back on and my boyfriend asks for another second. When he finally gave his order she proceeded to cut him off and ask what size. I repeated the order and she yells " I heard you and I asked what size. I told her I just wanna make sure you're adding the right fruit in." She continues to yell and some else yells "SHE HEARD YOU" . So I go into the store and ask for a manger. I got the worst looks from every staff member as if I was the one who started the issue. I continue to order with the manager and as I am, the one who was taking the drive through orders begins talking into the headset and under her breathe like no one could see her. Directing all questions to the manager the one who originally took the order and the one who yelled "she heard you " began to speak. In order to deescalate I direct all questions to the manager Alex who was so sweet but instead of giving me the girls name so that I can make a formal complaint he offers his own name and for me to call the store tomorrow in hopes of fixing the issue. As I'm leaving the girl finally finds her voice and decides to make a smart remark. I just don't understand how you can disrespect someone and then be upset that they have a problem with the disrespect. The way I was spoken to today was unacceptable. I would understand if I was an unreasonable customer but no I was yelled at for no reason at all and the employees assumed I was just supposed to take it. Every time I come here, they are super slow. The wait is so long, they just opened and I hate it. Like I get in the drive through thinking it's fast but once I get in line it's like 30 minutes just to get to the speaker. There is no way people should have to wait that long. With the current employees, Dustin and Briar are very friendly, down to earth and make my experience very rewarding each time I come in. Also Lily makes the best smoothies! I feel compelled to give Smoothie King five stars...the service is quick, they don't spend a lot of time upselling me and never mess up my order. Granted, they're not creating nepal, but still, I can (and do) appreciate people who can follow directions. This is the location closest to my house. I received the wrong drink several times and just decided to be extra specific from then on since it seems it was not understood what I wanted. I even went to another location for a while because I was tired of realizing it was incorrect and having to go back. My husband and I went today and paid for our drinks. Another woman came up with a problem and the manager came to help after putting the lids on our drinks and sitting them right beside the register. The girl working the register just watched what the manager was doing as our drinks sat there for 10 minutes melting. Another employee peeked her head out from the back and offered no assistance. There were 3 other people waiting behind us as the person taking orders rang up several drinks. I was honestly just amazed at the lack of teamwork and the fact that our drinks were ready, the cashier knew they were paid for and no one offered it to us.
