Potato skins are tolerable, and the ranch is made in house. Otherwise, this place is terrible and consistently the worst dining experience I have ever had in Muskogee. It takes at least 60-90 minutes to get your meal, which is usually wrong, and good luck getting drinks or appetizers. They are always woefully understaffed, and typically the staff seems like they hate being here as much as we do (tonight was an exception, staff was friendly). Included a photo of the updated fries in case you think they're the nice looking ones from years ago: nope, they're great value "McD's" knockoff fries. Thankfully this last experience convinced our group of friends to never return. Don't make the same mistake as us. If it was a single night of this, I'd give it a pass or wait and see. Well, I waited, and I saw, after 5-6 visits in here is just no salvaging the eating experience here.

Our order consisted of 2 1/4 lb cheeseburgers, waffle fries, and onion tanglers. My side of the order was a 1/4 lb old fashioned cheeseburger with no bun, side of pickles, with mayo, mustard and ketchup on the side, where I could add what I wanted. I sent my husband in to pick up the order and he said it had quite the nightlife vibe on the inside(made for the night owls). After I get off of doctor's restrictions, then a date night to Harvey's will be in store for the hubby and I.

And the food is now perfection. It's the perfect menu for the vibe. I love that they just kept tweaking it until they were happy with it. The best part is grill is open the entire time the bar is open. I ordered food at like 1am. And it was incredibly well priced and delicious. Fried pickles, fried mushrooms, and the jalapeno burger were SO tasty. The jalapeños were these candied delicious bites. Also, they now host karaoke on Saturday nights, and it was a blast! I was with the theatre crowd, and I can speak for the group and say we'll definitely make this an after show/cast party destination from now on for great food and drinks. La Cosecha Mexican Bar and Grill is operating in the old Catfish Ranch Restaurant Building,…read moreadjacent to the exclusive and luxurious, Super Stay Inn and Suites. Apparently, the restaurant opened in October 2025. It is a big building. Inside unmistakably a restaurant in its previous life. Clean, but worn. A few of the booths and chair's upholstery are scuffed through in places, exposing the underlying whiskers of thread. The padding in several booths had succumbed to the gravitational forces of previous hefty, "all you can eat catfish" customers. A little remodeling maybe? Looks like new flooring and paint. A bright comfortable interior. Chips and salsa come with the meal. Be sure to order the salsa picosa. There is a $2 charge for it. It is worth it. The food is lightly seasoned. You will appreciate the heat with your meal. The menu is big. My wife found the biggest meal on the menu, The Tiger Plate; e. in the combo section. A tamale, cheese enchilada, bean chalupa, beef taco with rice and beans. To celebrate her recent gallbladder surgery, she had the tamale and enchilada smothered in queso! A large, excellent sampling of the restaurant's food. A super burrito for me. Stuffed with steak, covered with red sauce. A dab of guacamole and sour cream on the side. It came with a generous helping of rice and tasty refried beans. Two delicious meals and very good service. Another good Mexican food option in Muskogee. Our waitress was good. Food came out quick and hot. The menu is pretty extensive. Lots to try. But all in all, it was pretty bland. My fajita chicken chimichanga meal had 2! But it was just hardly seasoned chicken inside. No peppers or onions. Rice and beans were fine. White queso and salsa were fine. It's just nothing to write home about. They could use some hot sauce on the tables for sure. If they plan to stand out in a town with loads of other very delicious Mexican restaurants, I think they'll need to step up the flavor.
