Smoked Jumbo Wings
Marvin J.

Ok the wings are good, but.....do not order the smoked wings with lemon pepper seasoning. I have been cutting back on all of the sauces and tried to go with a healthier option but the lemon pepper definitely clashed with the smokiness of the wings. That was my fault of course. Nonetheless, I've always enjoyed the wings here and my girls also enjoyed their food. Still giving them 4 stars.

First time Friday lunch, tried create Your own combo $12 several choices for meat and sides. I ordered the beef brisket additional $5, broccoli, baked potato with sour cream and butter. The brisket very tender, with crispy fat, rub is salty and peppery. I liked it, did not add any of the available sauces Only 3 stars due to the slow service and unexpected long time for lunch...dont go if you're in a hurry or only have 30 minutes. I was one of the customers for lunch and it took a really long time to place my simple order, and unrealistic Ling time to be served.

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant had a large parking lot out front with both stairs and a ramp to access into the facility. We were kindly greeted and sat promptly. The restaurant was not busy at this time so I was confused why we were not spread out in seating we were seated right next to another booth instead of every other one. We were given menus and waited. We waited a solid 15 minutes before we were greeted by our waitress. She did apologize for the wait as she approached. My husband ordered an old fashioned. I ordered our meal for two and a pitcher of their patron margaritaes. Drinks came and so did our meal. I enjoyed the presentation of the bone fire dish. A sample of a little bit of everything and all in smoky goodness. I had to return the plates because they were dirty but we were given clean ones right away. We enjoyed the wings, potato spears, chicken, sausage and veggie. Did not care for the ribs. The atmosphere was well lit, smelled good and clean. The meal and drinks cost a little over $100 without tip.

Took my daughter to Smokey bones for a couple of their chicken sandwiches. I forget the full name, but it had barbecue sauce on it, and was delicious. Very friendly staff, but was just a little slow getting us our check. Seems to be a common occurrence at all restaurants so this doesn't stand out above anywhere else. The restaurant and bar areas were all clean and up-to-date. Food was a little costly, but it was delicious.

Meh. Service is good. Everyone is friendly. Bar is well stocked. I came in on a Sunday. Walked from local hotel. It's edible. It's clean and friendly. Brisket was dry and tough. Sides are fine. It was this or Applebees on foot. Next time I'd go Applebees. YMMV. Didn't hate it but it's not the answer if your seeking real BBQ. Texas garlic toast is shameful, but it's toast not why your here.

Service was good. Brisket was mediocre. Got the point but prefer the flat. Only two small slices and zero smoke ring on the brisket.

My partner ordered the perch dinner, which included a side salad for $25. The salad was sent back because it was sad. Some of the iceberg lettuce was discolored but the single piece of tomato was bright. The salad was exchanged for coleslaw. I ordered the fish and chips for $19 and a margarita for $9. Both fish dinners were soft, not crispy as expected. Same with the fries. All the food was warm but not hot. The margarita was like the ready-to-drink that you get at the grocery store (quite sweet). I'm glad we tried this place because it finally satisfied our curiosity. The potato chips were damn good.

The menu in the entrance features Rueben soup- a cup or a bowl. No price! Wait until you get the bill --$8.50 a CUP ! Thankfully, we didn't each order a Bowl! The soup was mediocre at best. After questioning the price, our Waitperson assured us that the bowl was chuck-full of Corned Beef, as if that alone justified the price! (And what else goes into Rueben soup?) The $4.00 split charge for plates will not entice diners to rush back! We split the wet burrito. The portion size would justify that added cost, but not in this case! I do have to give them a "thumbs up" on the drinks; but the price points on the rest of the menu are certainly not appealing!

Our room was small and cozy and we had the room to ourselves until the restaurant got busy. We both ordered the 8 oz sirloin with the garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. Steak was tasty and grilled to order. The potatoes were chunky, rustic and garlicky. I ended up eating all of them against my better judgement. They were so good. Only downside was a pesky fly that would not go away and kept landing on our food. But not really the restaurant's fault!

I ended up ordering the Roadhouse Burger ($15). This is a 1/2lb black angus burger with chopped bacon, sautéed bourbon onions, haystack onions, garlic herb cheese spread and BBQ sauce on a pretzel bun. The Burger was okay. I really liked all the toppings. My 2 issues were the burger wasn't very juicy, plus meat quality was also only okay. The other was the bun was a little dry, maybe stale. I've had so many better burgers, it wasn't technically bad, just very ehhh. I also upgraded to asparagus ($2.5) as my side. They were cooked properly and tasted very good. A sauce or something would take them to another level. The person I was with ordered the Cajun Bleu Cheese Burger ($15). This is a Cajun seasoned 1/2lb black angus burger served with bacon, mushrooms, and crumbled bleu cheese served on a Kaiser roll. This person actually really enjoyed her Burger. Hers was cooked medium rare while mine was medium, plus different buns, so maybe that made a difference. They were short staffed with only one waitress covering. So she was a little frazzled. However she did a good job and was still friendly in the process. The other issue with this business I had was their website and actual are not the same. The websites menu states on Saturday it's brunch till 3pm them dinner menu at 3pm. We cane at 3pm, because I wanted the pot roast. Nope we are told it's Lunch menu only. If I had known that I probably wouldn't have come here Overall I'll give a 3 star review. It's not a bad place, just not anywhere near my favorite. Would I return? Probably not. If someone else really wanted to go here, then yes otherwise I don't see myself returning.

FOOD: I went with an olive burger with be try fresh and real ingredients. The burger itself was full of flavor; add the rest of it and it was phenomenal. If I had to complain about something, I could have used a touch more olive sauce. Now the egg roll... I went with the "Guava the Hutt". I'll just say, I ordered two to go in hopes I can resurrect them in the air fryer later. The back half of the building is a pickleball area and the front half is the brewery and restaurant. Very cool look as they have a few shipping containers as sitting areas. Plenty of seating where I didn't feel jammed in. Also, a few arcade games.
