    Cornbread - 4 Pieces
    Shari D.

AJ was one of the best servers I've had in a long time. She was pleasant and made sure our first experience was one to remember. The food is very reasonably priced and I love the bbq/smoky options, if you do nothing else, try their baked beans. They are so well flavored and tasty, I also really enjoyed the cornbread, especially with the pecan butter.

If you are even slightly considering eating here or giving this "old faithful" the benefit of the doubt, DON'T DO IT. Go back to the search bar and try again because everything about this place is tragic from beginning to end. The writing is literally on the wall so please hear this cautionary tale. Issue 1 - We saw all the terrible reviews on Yelp but remembered what this place used to be back in the day so we ordered anyway. Issue 2 - We ordered pick up online and the website was weirdly glitchy. We figured maybe it was just something odd on our end. We also noticed that the prices went up but quantity of wings decreased. But again overlooked it... Issue 3 - We arrive to pick up the food at our designated time and was told the food wasn't done. We waited 25min and apparently our food was done all along... but they couldn't "find it". This means our food was done and waiting for us for 25+ minutes Issue 4 - While waiting for our food that was "lost", we saw countless people go through similar issue-- food isn't ready, staff can't find order, and orders are missing items. The staff was always confused and it was clearly chaos. (And no it wasn't busy in the restaurant because nobody was eating in there) Issue 5- We ordered JUMBO wings and received the smallest wings I've ever seen at this place. (look at the size compared to a regular sized fork!) And they gave us mostly drumsticks and sprinkled in a few flats. So almost 1 hour later, I have cold, small chicken wings smothered in watered down sauce. I am NEVER coming back. Will never recommend. And will never forgive them for serving these "jumbo" wings.

Have enjoyed coming to Smokey's a few times. Depending on the day the waitlist can be long. Food is worth it, service can improve. Staff is not all that attentive and seems they need more servers. Ribs and juicy and tasty. Getting a family platter is always the best way to go for a party of 2.

Don't look a gift pig in the snout! It's my own fault, showing up at 6 pm on a Saturday night + holiday + free dinner for us veterans. I waited an hour to be seated and another hour for food. They were totally slammed! Still, the staff was cool and cordial. Baked beans were delicious, charred corn just needed a little salt, pulled pork was tender and juicy but not as smoky as I like. $6 for a draft Angry Orchard was pretty reasonable. I don't think it's really fair to judge a BBQ joint without trying the ribs and brisket, so I'll just go with okay for now

Came back and boy, I don't know what to say, customer service is at an all time low. Had a different bartender (Kelly) this time and ordered some food. I got a few drinks and ordered some wings at the bar and some to go, she rung all of them up at regular price, and they have BOGO today(Monday). Buy 6, get 6 or buy 12, get 12, so im paying $20 more co 24 wings. She let me pay $40 instead of $20. Funniest part is, someone right next to me said BOGO and she honored that. I thought that was customer service to just say well you know we got this today and when I order my food at least mention it, I decline and only want what I order, not on you. SMH now in stead of her having a $20 tip, she has the change. Some people will say I'm wrong and some won't. It is what it is!

Service is good at the bar. Joseph was very good Wings are on point great deal 6 wings for $7. Sauces are great Good beer selection

Sooooo. Being the penny wise Connoisseur that I be, the chance to catch the special of a 1/2 rack of ribs for $9.95 was more than I could resist. Unfortunately, others must have realized the benefit of such anniversary pricing and ate up all the half slabs... Fortunately, for $5.00 additional, $ was able to have a full slab, more than my greediness could even contend eith. My sides. Mac and cheese was just good, not spectacular, but good. It was cheesy and flavorful... good. I went out on a limb and got the cornbread as a second side, which was delicious. The honey butter gave it a finger licking presentation that's hard to beat. Je'niya, my waiter was attentive and quite knowledgeable, excellent service. I hope this special doesn't last long, or I'll be back real fast.

Unfamiliar with the area, I jumped on yelp and found The Farmhouse with its 4.4 star rating. So there we went. The Waugh Chapel area is a giant shopping center. Wegmans, Old Navy, Verizon, etc. The Farmhouse is in a new building near the man road. Their whole thing is farm to fork, with some herbs and greens grown on site and others sourced locally. The service is great! Fast and friendly. Instead of bread or rolls, they warm you up with some country style homemade cornbread. Freshly baked, cast iron skillet, with butter and syrup. Yum! We had the meatloaf and the chicken and chicken and biscuits. The meatloaf was tasty, with homemade mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked fresh green beans. The chicken and biscuits is kind of like a chicken pot pie without the crust. The biscuits are on top so you can decide how much bread you want. The vegetables are nice and fresh, and the chicken is perfect white meat. A++ on both entrees. For dessert we had half-baked, which is an ooey gooey cookie and a brownie in a cast iron skillet topped with ice cream. We liked it, but next time I'll probably have just ice cream because the ice cream was absolutely perfect. Where are you? Stevensville? Baltimore? Solomon's? Alexandria? DC? When we arrived, our table appeared to be ready right at our reservation time, but we still had to wait to be seated. It wasn't a long delay, but it was a bit confusing and felt like a service issue. The ambience is beautiful and well done, and the bathrooms were clean. The food itself was solid across the board, and the chicken and biscuit was actually even better the next day as leftovers. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest drawback. Refills only happened when we asked, and splitting checks for a large group was more difficult than expected. At one point when a correction was needed, a member of our party noticed the server visibly rolling her eyes, which didn't help the experience. Drinks are also served by the can rather than fountain style, which made them feel overpriced without refills. For a place that presents as upscale, the experience shouldn't feel nickel-and-dimed. Overall, nice atmosphere and good food, but the service needs improvement before I'd consider returning.

Not a huge issue, just a bit fast-paced right out the gate. I ordered the 8 oz New York strip with a sweet potato and green beans. The steak was cooked perfectly i asked for medium and it was flavorful. The sweet potato was good, but there was a bit too much brown sugar for my taste. The green beans were fresh with a nice hint of bacon, which I really enjoyed. My friend got the smothered chicken with just gravy and cheese (no peppers, onions, or mushrooms) and a side of loaded mashed potatoes, which she really liked--they were fully loaded and satisfying. She also got a side of corn, which she didn't enjoy as much because it tasted a little frozen. Her blue crushed drink was also very sweet--heavy on the syrup and not diluted enough with water. That said, the overall experience was still great. We love the atmosphere, the music, and the energy of the place. Other than feeling a bit rushed at the beginning, everything else hit the mark. Almost every high top and low table seemed to be enjoying the wings too. We didn't play pool but it seemed to be several pool tables that were in heavy use. The music was 90s and 2000s Hip Hop, Go-Go, and R&B. Solid play list played from a system with no DJ. A few people danced, but most folks were just talking, chilling, and vibing out. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just a cool scene. It is what it is, a juke joint/pool hall. Spartan but in a good dive bar way.

From the moment I walked into Copper Canyon Grill, I felt welcomed and right at home. Our server,…read moreTee, made the experience even more amazing--her warm personality and attentive service truly elevated my first visit. The menu is incredible! For starters, I couldn't decide between the honey butter chicken biscuits, jalapeño cornbread, or the calamari... and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. For the main course, I went with the barramundi (catch of the day) and it was absolutely perfect, though the BBQ pork ribs and 12oz black angus New York strip with fries also looked amazing. Dessert is not to be missed--the bread pudding is a must-try. And the cocktails? The cherry blossom martini, Fleur de Lis, and espresso martini all hit the spot This place is perfect for a cozy Sunday dinner, a night out, or just because. I can't wait to come back--highly recommend bringing someone special or your crew for an unforgettable meal!

It's packed and loud inside BUT don't let the smoke and mirrors fool you. The food is overcooked and lacks season. My advice save your hard earned money this place and their food TERRIBLE. Parents anytime a kids says, "these chicken fingers don't taste like anything", and then I try them and it taste like chicken no seasoning just fried chicken with absolutely nothing. I hate to say this but it's the worse tasting food I've had in years.
