I walked in, and the clerk behind the counter didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I looked for the flavor board, and it wasn't on the wall but was replaced by a cardboard sitting near a sofa. I had to guess what I liked based on past experiences rather than a helpful employee offering suggestions. He didn't seem to know the products at all, and after filling my bottle forgot to put a label on it. Another employee, a woman seemed to know a little more, and checked me out along with accesories I needed. They forgot to ask if I was military even, I guess that discount is gone? The store felt very unwelcome, and I just wanted to get my gear and leave. The old staff that was there was always so great, and on top of recommendations etc., and I am not sure if they left or not. She is the sweetest lady, so friendly, and interesting. She loaded me up with a cutter and matches at no charge so that she was sure that I was able to smoke them, and put everything in a cool little bag in case the match box opened up. These sound simple, but I don't think I've ever had a tobacconist give me a cutter at no charge, and even matches seem hard to come by at a lot of places. And the little bag reminds you of something you would have gotten years ago at an old dime or general store. Some time simple things are the most memorable.
