Or the wrong strength I've been going there since the only store was on NE 14th. Over 11 years now. Every time I find a flavor I like. They stop selling it. I can still get most of them online. Which is a huge pain. But CIV always claims it's the manufacturer that stopped making it. Then they sold me a bottle of that fake nicotine crap. I was going out of my head. About ready to kill someone. You don't do that. Just sell someone artificial nicotine without letting them know. The management sucks. The employees are pretty much illiterate. I'm done trying to find my next flavor they'll just stop selling anyway. Buy online in bulk. It's cheaper. And less hassle.

They wanted $29 to ship a $48 order which conveniently more than made up for any "savings" that I got during their Sale. Even with the adult signature fee, 60% of the original ticket seems excessive. When contacted the guy was completely dismissive. The policy seemed sketchy because it is. My mistake. There are plenty of other shops online that are honest and upfront about all costs. Not a very mellow experience... plus the website is wonky and they spam you with emails.

The gentleman at the front counter greeted me when I walked in and asked me if I needed any help. Just looking right now. It's a nice little shop. When we were visiting he said they'd only been open around three months or so. It's a small space and they have a smaller selection. Normal shelfers mostly, but they do have some allocated bottles too. As far as prices they are a couple dollars higher on the normal shelf stock compared to other nearby liquor stores. This is to be expected being a newer mom and pop shop. They can't buy in the volumes needed to get the deep buying discounts. I'll definitely be swinging in here when I'm in the area and keeping an eye on the stock.

I stopped into Neighborhood Liquor House this past Sunday after checking out Liquor Lovers…read more Neighborhood is a nice little shop with a good selection...some fairly rare bottles of bourbon just sitting out on the shelf at close to MSRP. The young lady working was polite enough, but never came out from behind the counter. Quite a 180 from my experience at Liquor Lovers. I picked up a bottle of Penelope Wheated and a New Riff for my shelf. I'd go back because of the selection. But the customer service is lacking like a lot of other shops throughout the metro... They say bourbon hunting and the people who do it make up a community all in itself... And part of that community is the store staff. To be personable, to strike up a conversation, to get to know your customers... Especially when good bottles cost $40-$200+ each... It's important.
