I found this shop online and used their online appointment booking to set an appointment. It did…read moretake them several days to confirm the appointment by text, but the day and time I had chosen was confirmed by email and text. They also informed me by text that the appointment location had been moved to their new location on Cottage Hill Road. The Cottage Hill Road location is a four chair shop with partitions set up for an additional four chairs on the opposing side of the partitions.It's clean and clearly freshly remodeled on the interior. I was surprised to see only one parking space for the handicapped in the whole disappointedly small parking lot, and that space was occupied. On entering the shop I found no customers, and only my barber present, which indicated to me that it was his vehicle occupying that space. As a wheelchair bound person, it sure would have been nice to have been able to use that space closer to the door for my parking, instead of having to park on the other side of the building. Nevertheless, because it was my first visit to this establishment, I said nothing to Ali, my barber,deciding instead that the quality of my haircut was more important an issue at the moment. To that I can report that Ali did an excellent job. He cut my hair and trimmed my beard quickly, expertly and with remarkable skill and talent. His friendly demeanor capped the deal for me and despite the shortage of parking spaces for the handicapped, I decided that I will be back to allow Mo's Barbershop another opportunity and perhaps convince me to become a regular customer.

It has that feel of the old fashioned barber shop your dad and grandfather went to with some modern touches which today's men would like to see in a barber shop. Its totally unassuming and completely come as you are, be prepared to laugh at the banter and be aware you may very well be sitting in a chair next to some of the cities elite. Next the experience, it is one of those places that has efficiency without sacrificing the comfort and satisfaction of the patrons. You walk in and the ladies will decide which one of them "wants" to cut your hair. They are always laughing and can keep up with men, meaning, they tease and banter with their clients. Ask some questions with regards to your needs and desires and then do what they can to make sure you get a great haircut and have an enjoyable experience. The haircuts are awesome and I feel fairly priced to make sure the job is done correctly. The experience of their shaves is impeccable; carefully manipulating the straight razor this young lady took her time, used warm towels and I wasn't nicked or left with a razor burn. Tip well men these two ladies have been a Mobile staple for 20 years and they will do an awesome job, 1 thing to remember they give as good as the get and its CASH ONLY.
