I found this shop online and used their online appointment booking to set an appointment. It did…read moretake them several days to confirm the appointment by text, but the day and time I had chosen was confirmed by email and text. They also informed me by text that the appointment location had been moved to their new location on Cottage Hill Road. The Cottage Hill Road location is a four chair shop with partitions set up for an additional four chairs on the opposing side of the partitions.It's clean and clearly freshly remodeled on the interior. I was surprised to see only one parking space for the handicapped in the whole disappointedly small parking lot, and that space was occupied. On entering the shop I found no customers, and only my barber present, which indicated to me that it was his vehicle occupying that space. As a wheelchair bound person, it sure would have been nice to have been able to use that space closer to the door for my parking, instead of having to park on the other side of the building. Nevertheless, because it was my first visit to this establishment, I said nothing to Ali, my barber,deciding instead that the quality of my haircut was more important an issue at the moment. To that I can report that Ali did an excellent job. He cut my hair and trimmed my beard quickly, expertly and with remarkable skill and talent. His friendly demeanor capped the deal for me and despite the shortage of parking spaces for the handicapped, I decided that I will be back to allow Mo's Barbershop another opportunity and perhaps convince me to become a regular customer.

The fades are very poorly done. I have had barbers switch between multiple sizes of guard to ensure the fade is perfectly blended. That was NOT the experience of my recent visit. I could clearly see the division of where the bald line was inserted and after I asked to blend the fade better; the barber told me that "she did her best, but I will go over it again." Imagine getting a haircut that you are noticeably distraught about and hearing "I did my best." Especially, when on multiple occasions from barbers of different states, Ive been told I have the easiest type of hair to fade. Finally, my line up was crooked and instead of a square hairline, one side of my hair ended up with half of an octagon. (difficult to describe and too embarrassing to post a picture). Although, I did have quite the negative and unfordable experience, there were some positives. The price of the haircut is extremely reasonable. It has been near a decade since I have paid less than $20 for a haircut. $20 included not only the haircut but your hair styled with the product of your choosing, and a free drink. Lastly, the only reason I didn't completely blow up is the service. The staff was extremely kind, made a big effort to get to know me and provide a pleasant experience. The shop was extremely clean and very comfortable with plenty of parking. Lastly, take everything I have said with a grain of salt. I, initially, chose this barbershop due to the amount of high ratings on yelp and google maps. Obviously, they're doing something right. Somehow, I just ended up with a bad haircut. Which happens as nobody is perfect. All in all, I will not be returning but if you are someone with thick wavy hair as myself who loves a good taper and/or fade and nothing else, maybe this isn't the barbershop for you.

I recommend first chair Hayward as he was friendly and made me feel comfortable in the chair with his welcoming manner and professionalism. Sometimes there maybe be a line and the use a number system for you to get a cut from any other barber. I recommend Hayward -- liked his vibe and would probably return again if need be.

I found the door locked and no one inside, however, the sign in the window said "OPEN". When I returned to my car I called the shop, no answer of course. I left a message stating that I was looking forward to a haircut, paid to park but the shop was closed ( an hour early) which was poor business manners. I quickly received a text from Bridgette stating that she did not need to be bothered by a$$holes like me complaining because she left a 'lil early. Needless to say I won't be getting a haircut from Bridgette or anyone at this shop! EVER!
