Dr. Wright's method of adjustment is different and much more gentle and tolerable. It also seems much more affective as well. My parents have history of back problems (surgery, devices, etc.) and both my brother and I are starting to experience the same symptoms as my parents. The woman I spoke with about submitting my insurance had a misunderstanding about how deductibles work and told me I'd have to pay for the visit out-of-pocket, and wasn't very nice about it. I nicely explained to her that the deductible was met and she got snarky with me, saying that she spoke with my insurance company and I'd have to pay the full cost of the visit. No big deal, I could pay for it and get reimbursed later. She put me on hold, came back a minute later and said that I'd only have to pay 10% of the visit, which I had told her earlier, but she wanted to argue about. No apology or anything, and she kept speaking to me in that sickeningly-sweet condescending tone and using "sweetie" to be extra-annoying. I had to cancel the appointment for the simple fact that I would not want to have to deal with this woman at each appointment. It's a pity, the doctor could have been really good, but I'll never know because of how awful this woman was. Then again, if he knows how his office staff treat people (how could he not?), and he doesn't do anything about it, that says a lot, too.

I have had some not so good experiences with OTHER Chiropractors. I tend to tense up at times because of past experiences. Dr Dave is always so kind and patient and explains everything to you. I have had problems with my back, neck and spine for a while. I even already had surgery to fuse a couple vertebrae together. My last visit with Ortho, they suggested physical therapy, surgery (again) or to live with the pain. I tried physical therapy for a while with little or no results. My son is also a patient and suggested I see Dr Dave. You never feel rushed. He takes the time to listen to what is bothering you to make sure he doesn't need to adjust your treatment plan. Everyone remembers you and asks about your day or plans for the week. Then, your next visit they ask you about it. Dr Dave sets up a treatment plan and reevaluates that plan if needed.
