We just left, and are EXTREMELY disappointed. We drove 2.5 hrs, CASH IN HAND, to look at a 2021 F-250 Platinum Edition that my husband had his heart set on. The first gentleman who greeted us had to, understandably, pass us off to a young man as he was helping another customer. The young man (early 20s) seemed very uninterested in locating the vehicle, as it had apparently been moved to another location over the weekend. He did not even offer to do the bare minimum of looking up where the truck is now located. He stated where he thought it might have been moved too but was uncertain. Simple fact is that we are in the market for 2 cars, I am simply undecided on what I want. You would think that if someone walks in and asks about a very specific vehicle, a salesman might become a bit more attentive to the request. Instead Smith Auto lost a 68k+ deal tonight and and any potential future sales. I genuinely expected better of a "Family" dealership. read more

I loved my Lincoln and had no intention of trading but.... unbeknownst to the dealer, I had been quietly wanting another Mustang for years. I finally got it in my head that if a red or blue Mustang convertible showed up on a certified pre owned deal, I would pursue it. One night as I'm browsing the website, there it was. So,then I decide if I can get in and out without hitting my head or needing assistance (I'm 65), I would pursue it. I tried everything to talk myself out of it but nothing worked. 6/8/21 Negotiated a purchase on a 2019 vehicle $200 off advertised price. I was asked to sign a Buyers Order with the finance manager on this vehicle, shook hands, and left. 6/9/21 called my Salesman to have the Finance Mgr. call me to complete the wire of funds, but after about 30 min. Salesman called me to let me know they sold the vehicle today to someone else without his knowledge. After demanding someone from management call me, I got a call from a co-owner of this dealership. In this conversation I was told sorry "it's just the way the market is now", and there is nothing they can do. He did offer to find another vehicle of same model, and located one with 20K more miles, and history of major damage which was taken as an insult to the already bad situation. In my experience Smith South Plains ownership has no commitment or honesty in how they value, and treat customers. On 6/10 travelled to Dallas and purchased same 2019 model vehicle with 3000 less miles from Plano Audi. The experience was excellent, and easy. Completed all paperwork, funds wire, and drove vehicle home same day. read more

I have never had worse customer service. Went in today just to get a simple inspection done. We walked into the service office and the lady at the front counter just looked at us, didnt say hello didnt say someone will be right with you, nothing, just looked at us and then continued to pick at her fingernails. Then when a gentleman walked in he just about did the same thing, we had to initiate and finally tell them what we needed. And then when they were finished with the inspection we waited and waited for them to tell us they were done, we had to go to the counter to check on it! Will not be going back there for anything, service, repairs or to purchase a vehicle! read more

Bought a used car on july 28 noticed a small clicking sound the next day..a week later it turned in to a full popping noise turns it its my tire rod ends are bad.. some thing that there inspection should of caught like i said i heard it the next day after i got the car ...so i did the right thing and called them to see why wasn't it caught he said because we dnt really drive them.. So i asked so can yall fix it simple yes or no.. I mean its only a week and a half out of the lot and this is wat happens. that rod could brake anytime i could got in accident because they failed to do a full inspection..they gave me the run a round since monday then tell me today i need to pay 650 because the car was not certified that only lincon and ford are certified.. this is my second car i bought from them first one was fine but this one is giving me problems allready..thats not right i feel like they just accepted a trade with out inspecting it and put it on the lot basically giving me a lemon car something i would excpect from a shiity car lot not them so dissapointed in them..so don't buy a used car there not certified and i would hate for this to happened to some one else!!!it it will be a waste of money go to decent car lot!!! read more
