We paid the deposit and flooring charges on 2/23/25 when they came out with the contract. After…read morethat there were excuses to explain why they couldn't come and show us samples and why they couldn't deliver the flooring they were supposed to purchase for us. The job was supposed to begin on 3/17/25 but it never happened. We asked for our money back and he said he needed time to get his deposits back so he asked for us to give him until Thursday 3/20/25. He has not sent us the money and today is Friday. He has excuses for why he couldn't answer the texts or calls. He said that he'd send us pictures of the cashiers check and ups tracking. He has not done so. It's Friday 3/21/25 @ 10:35 pm and I'm still waiting. He didn't answer my last texts. Due to the lack of follow through on his promises, he is unprofessional. Situations and coincidences occurred when he was supposed to show us samples, start the job and give us our money back. We still haven't received our flooring either. Don't trust this company! 4/6/25 3 weeks later, he still hasn't returned the money we gave him as a deposit or the money we gave him to purchase the flooring. 4/13/25 Still no money from him and no responses from him on texts or messages on yelp. Phone calls go to voicemail with no call backs. 4/20/25 Another week has gone by. There has been no communication on his part at all. He has not returned my money.

He provided me with a verbal quote on this date. On Thursday, April 24, 2025 I informed Mr. Zambrano that he's won the business and we made arrangements for him to come by on Friday, April 25, 2025 to finalize our agreement. Mr. Zambrano came by on Friday, April 25, 2025 with a contract. We both signed the contract, with the terms that the work would "commence and complete" within one (1) week. Mr. Zambrano received a deposit of $2,250.00. I contacted Mr. Zambrano on Tuesday, April 29th asking him what the timline is for the project. He said that they will be starting on Friday (May 2, 2025) at 9am. On Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:31am I contacted Mr. Zambrano because no one had shown up. Mr. Zambrano explained that he was paying for the materials at that moment. I said, that was okay and I asked Mr. Zambrano to update me on the schedule. He did not respond. On Monday, May 5, 2025 I contacted Mr. Zambrano asking what day they will be starting. Mr. Zambrano did not respond. I then researched Mr. Zambrano and his business further, discovering an F rating on the BBB and multiple, severely negative reviews of Mr. Zambrano. Descriptions within the reviews state: "Still thinking about filing a police report for theft and wire fraud as the "refund" was with a check that bounced. The only positive from the experience is that I know how to protect myself with contracts in writing and detailed specifics. Run from this business; save yourself." "This company is trying to STEAL $1200 of my money ... I plan to file theft charges with the police." "I will be pursuing legal actions against Mr. Zambrano..." On the evening of Tuesday, May 6, 2025 I ask a Spanish Speaking friend of mine to call Mr. Zambrano from my phone to inform Mr. Zambrano that he was now in breach of our contract, as the work never commenced, and certainly never finished within one (1) week. A voicemail was left for Mr. Zambrano requesting my deposit of $2,250.00 back. Mr. Zambrano responded this evening on text. We agreed on this evening to part ways and for him to return my deposit. He wrote "Tomorrow I'm going to return the pieces and I'll send you your money via Zelle..." Mr. Zambrano was sent multiple Zelle requests in the amount of the exact deposit - $2,250.00. As of May 10, 2025 Mr. Zambrano has not returned my deposit, nor has he responded to any of my additional correspondence. I am now left with red spray paint marks all around my house on areas that were to be addressed. Based on the evidence, this is a CLEAR case of fraud. Mr. Zambrano is using Yelp and the cover of a Yelp Guaranteed Business within his fraudulent business model. I will be more than happy to provide documentation and / or pictures upon request. I am also reporting Mr. Zambrano to the police as this is not a case of poor business practices. This is repeated fraud and theft.
