I'm not sure about any other elevator in the building - FYI! The waiting room is a couple of chairs, a water fridge, and the front desk. Mel will greet you and she's very warm. But I've talked to her a lot when I scheduled our entire family AND scheduling my gum regression surgery. So, I've been seeing a lot of them lately. One thing I love love love is that I went in the day after my surgery and all the staff who has worked with me ALL came by to check on me. All of them! That's greatcustomer service. It really made me feel special! My sons are teens and needed to switch from a pediatric dentist to an adult dentist, since they have all their adult teeth. I couldn't be happier that this is their first adult dentist experience. As with any doctor or dentist, check with your insurance to see if they're a primary provider so you maximize your benefits.

The first issue was with my Invisalign treatment. **Before starting treatment, I specifically asked and confirmed that my retainers would be included in the total price. I was told that they were included.** This was not something that was implied or assumed -- I made sure to ask about it before committing to treatment. At the end of my treatment, however, I was charged **an additional +$300 for the retainers**. When I questioned the charge, they did not honor what I had been told when I signed up for the treatment. I gave them the benefit of the doubt at the time and thought perhaps it was a miscommunication. Unfortunately, I am now dealing with a very similar situation again, which makes me question whether this is actually a pattern. My mom recently had surgery at this office. **We paid for the surgery in full upfront, and we were specifically told that appointments related to the surgery would be included in that price.** Now, they are trying to charge us separately for a post-surgery consultation. On top of that, my mom previously had a cleaning there that cost **$70**, and now they are charging **$109 for the same type of cleaning** without clearly explaining the significant price increase or warning us beforehand. I am refusing to pay for services that I was explicitly told were included in the price we already paid. Rather than making a reasonable effort to resolve the situation, they have taken a position that may leave us having to go to court over it. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that **the front desk staff member is now refusing to speak with me directly about the issue.** Instead of trying to communicate with me and resolve the billing dispute, I am essentially being shut out of the conversation. The treatment experience itself has also been extremely disappointing. I have left this office feeling sore and in significant pain because one of the dental assistants was extremely rough and showed very little care toward me or my mom as a patient. I specifically complained about her behavior and explained that she was hurting my mom. Despite this, they continued bringing her into the treatment room even after we explicitly asked that she not be involved in my mom's care. I have never been someone who leaves bad reviews, but I feel this experience is important to share as a warning to other patients. And if the owner is reading this, I strongly recommend taking a serious look at your administrative management. The manager I dealt with was extremely unprofessional. Instead of actually listening to my concerns or trying to find a solution, she repeatedly said the same things over and over again. It felt like talking to a wall. There was **zero effort to actually make things right**. The most basic principle of customer service is to listen to the patient, understand the concern, and make a genuine effort to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. After two negative experiences in less than a year, I will not be returning to this dental office for new treatments. Patients deserve to know exactly what they are paying for, to have agreed-upon prices honored, and to feel respected and properly cared for during their treatment.

We used yelp to look up a nearby dentist and found Dr Dorrough with Heber City Dental. I went to website and saw the Dr had over 24 years of experience and thought he would be the best fit. We called office to make appointment and the office was so kind and accommodating to get us right in the next day. We got to the office and It was absolutely gorgeous and clean. The office staff was warm and comforting and put my friend at ease. My friend isn't a fan of going to the dentist so was really nervous. The doctor was very honest and gentle. My friend was really happy with his results and wishes this dentist was in Las Vegas area. I highly recommend this office and will be referring my Utah family to come be patients! :)

Dr. Vanessa and all of the staff were super nice and really supportive. But at the same time they care about my teeth and how I took care of them. So if I couldn't seem get a routine down that would help my teeth, we would have a conversation. While it may have felt like a lecture at the time, I know that they care and wanted what was best for my teeth. Because of that attention, the two dentists that I have gone to since seeing Dr. Vanessa have said nothing but praises about the work that has been done. When I ended up having to move out of the area, they helped me find a dentist that was in the area I was moving. Unfortunately that dentist was not longer in practice. But it felt great that they were willing to help. Now months later and still struggling to find a dentist and the specific mouth rinse that Knight & Knight carried, I called out of the blue and they helped me find a dentist that carries the mouth rinse.

I was under the impression it was just being watched, otherwise my previous and now current dentists tell the receptionist what needs scheduled since they know how much time is needed. When I did see Dr Vanessa for the procedure she told me in early January that she was "sick of winter" I wanted to tell her the winter season is what pays for my dental visits, but I simply found a new dentist. They moved here by choice, winters are part of the package. When I mentioned the crown that they put in felt like it might not stay Dr Mike scoffed saying "it's not going anywhere". It fell out in six months. My new dentist put it back in, and it's stayed for several years now.

BEWARE: My family and I had been coming to Elevated Family Dentistry for years. During my last few…read morecleanings, however, I noticed they were increasingly recommending additional dental work, even though I had no tooth pain, took good care of my teeth, and hadn't noticed any problems. At my most recent cleaning, the amount of recommended work doubled. I was told that two teeth needed work, totaling around $600, and they were actively trying to schedule appointments to have it done. Something didn't feel right, so I asked for a copy of the X-rays they had just taken so I could get a second opinion. After consulting with someone else in the office, the employee helping me said they would mail the X-rays to me. I never received them. When it was time for my next checkup six months later, I decided to go to a different dentist. I wanted to see whether this new dentist identified the same problems that Elevated Family Dentistry told me required treatment. After taking new X-rays, performing a thorough exam, and cleaning my teeth, the new dentist found NO teeth that needed work. **After that, I looked more closely at the reviews for this practice. What concerned me even more was finding multiple negative reviews describing experiences remarkably similar to mine: patients say they were told they had cavities or needed dental work here, but after seeking second opinions elsewhere, they were told that the recommended work wasn't necessary.** Those reviews are easy to miss among the many positive ones. (You can read more of these negative reviews through google reviews) - which is one reason I felt it was important to share my experience. I can't say why there was such a significant difference between the two dentists' assessments, but the experience left me extremely uncomfortable--especially considering that I requested my X-rays for a second opinion and never received them. I strongly encourage anyone surprised by a diagnosis or recommendation for significant dental work here to get a second opinion before proceeding. My new dentist may not have a large, beautiful building with spa-like amenities (that are expensive), but I would much rather give up those extras for dental care I feel confident in and a dentist I CAN TRUST
