Her office is usually full which I recommend to be a patient person because everyone gets the same great exam as you will. Currently she is not accepting new patients which I suspect is because she does not wish to cut her time away from the patients she already has. Her Staff is cordial and always knows who I am and very efficient. For new patients there is a NP that I have not met but if she works with Dr. Sahay you know she is a caring person with great skill.

Be prepared to wait because she spends time with her patients...which is a good thing and rare these days. You don't get treated like cattle there. It is a low-budget operation though. Frequently the computers are running slow, but the exam rooms are kept neat and clean. I only have two complaints: 1. It's too hot in the waiting room 2. Some of the other patients arrive with very bad body odor and/or reeking of smoke Don't come here looking for pain pill prescriptions. They won't put up with your shit! They no longer take NEW NJ Family Care patients.

Worst medical experience I've ever had…read more I went to Pronto Medical on Fisher Blvd for an annual physical and a referral for an MRI due to a known meniscus tear. Dr. Joyce never examined my knee at all--only checked my vitals. He was dismissive and made an inappropriate and medically inaccurate comment. Despite being in extreme pain and significant inflammation, I was not offered crutches, a brace, pain relief, or even basic guidance--not even Tylenol or ibuprofen. The front desk staff was equally unprofessional. I was given confusing paperwork, no clear explanation of where my MRI was scheduled, then accused of being "nasty" when I asked for clarification. I left frustrated, confused, and still in severe pain. Three weeks later, when I finally went for my MRI, I was informed that Dr. Joyce's office acknowledged the initial call and stated the referral would be faxed, but it was never sent and all subsequent calls were ignored. The imaging center attempted to contact the office multiple times, and my MRI had to be canceled and rescheduled, delaying my care by weeks. Because of these failures, I went over a month and a half with a bucket-handle meniscus tear, enduring unnecessary pain and delayed treatment. I was a patient of this doctor for many years. After one disagreement with him and his staff…read morenurse, he sent me a certified letter saying he was dropping me as a patient due to incompatibility. We had a problem over the medication for my diabetics. We had a discussion and he gave me options. I told him what I preferred to do. He prescribe the medication and when i had already paid for it, I found out it was not what we discussed. He had his staff person call and she told me to just take this one and you can discuss it with him in 3 months during my next visit. I told her I was disappointed that he had not done what we discussed and ended the phone call. She tried to call back and I did not take the call. I was upset and thought it better i cool down before discussion it. When it was time for my next appoint 3 months later, I got a certified letter to say I was not longer a patient and I did not even get the results of the blood work I had done for that visit. Now I am looking for a new doctor. This was an unprofessional and childish way to handle a disagreement.

Three hours later and there is no prescription. I called the office which is already closed and there is no answering service on call. I called several local pharmacies, in case a mistake was made. Now I will have to return to the office tomorrow, to have this rectified. They had ONE TASK TO COMPLETE, but it was too much to ask. Now I am in pain, I had my Sunday morning wasted and I'll have to do it all over again tomorrow. Why is it so hard for people to be responsible and do their job? I am majorly disappointed.

He has been my…read moredoctor for 20+ years and I now see him at his own concierge practice, which certainly is a more relaxed setting where much can be discussed and accomplished during a visit. The unrushed atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff superb. Dr. Carson is highly knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest meds, conditions, procedures, diagnostics, etc., and readily shares how he determines appropriate treatment. He welcomes patient questions and input. I particularly appreciate that he isn't an alarmist and works with the patient to figure out the optimal approach to address a medical issue. Based on my experience, I wholeheartedly recommend him to others.
