If there were a way to give this place negative stars, I would do it. I went in to there with a simple request. I had had my haircut a few days previously at another salon and the sides weren't quite even. Since I was in Walmart to do some shopping I popped in just to have the sides evened up. Megan, the manager, was the only person in the salon when I went so she took me to her chair. I explained to her that I didn't want to lose any more length than was absolutely necessary. The sides of my hair reached to the bottom of my earlobe and I explained to Megan that I hoped to keep that length and she said okay. I took my glasses off so she could get to my hair; I'm quite near-sighted. She made one snip on my hair, which I felt was very high up. I asked her what she had done and got my glasses back on as quickly as possible. She had cut one side of my hair up above the top of my ear. She insisted that she had only cut "one little strand" of my hair and refused to take responsibility for the fact she ignored my instructions. I subsequently called management and filed a complaint against Megan (who was surly and totally unapologetic about ruining my hair). I was assured by the supervisor that I would be reimbursed for the cost of the stylist I went to subsequently to try to address the lop-sided mess Megan had left me with. Although that was six weeks ago, the reimbursement has not shown up yet. I feel, given the poor treatment and unprofessional behavior of the manager of this salon that no one should ever trust their hair to this horrid place in spite of its convenience. read more
