First i want to say i have not tried anything! We came to this place after seeing a ig pic by a well know blogger weeks ago. Apparently they just had their grand opening Friday. We went there on a Saturday a bit after 1 pm, they were completely out of everything. They said it was due to the big launch party the friday night so we understood. They said chef is out now getting more supplies come back tomorrow. So what does that mean, they will be good to go the next day right? Came the next day same excuse, out of everything at 10:30 next morning? Cant even get an avocado toast at 1pm, that spoils too? We wanted the full experience so we left. Reviews seem great but management really needs work. Better to be over prepared than under, at least until you get a better flow of traffic or don't bother offering food if you cant handle it. Buying small bits of food that run out in a few hours is a horrible way to run a business with first impressions. People are coming because of the amazing food pics and leave angry and hungry. I gave it two trys but seems more like a problem than coincidence. Not that hard to keep certain things on hand or keep making throughout the day, its called a fridge. Even the bagle bombs, keep them in the fridge and bake when running low or even run out for a food run. I am not one to leave reviews like this but 2nd time i drove all the way there just for them to be left hungry again. I will update my review again if we make it back once they get it all together. Came by to check this place out this morning. Super cozy little spot, to come and have a bite. Had a caramel latte and a croissant with smoked ham, deliciously creamy scrambled eggs and cheese. Perfect for a quick breakfast. Will definitely be going back to try the avocado toast! read more

Great place! So happy to have this available in the neighborhood! I was torn between a holiday chai latte they now have available and the hazelnut, I went with my first choice (hazelnut) and did not regret at all. Made with almond milk the coffee was delicious, not too sweet and it tasted like actual hazelnut (not artificial) NOW the croissant with guava and cheese was Amazing! I was expecting a sort of stuffed croissant but no. It's a regular flaky croissant that they slice and smear cheese and some delicious fresh tasting guava marmalade on themselves. It was warmmmmmmmm. That won my little heart over. Aside from that the guys that were there were so friendly and that alone is enough for me to come back and support this little local business. We've been back to this coffee house 4 times now and I think they've been open about a month. Each time we've tried something new, both pick up and eat in and each time we've absolutely loved our meals. We've had every beignet on the menu (amazing), the Avocado Toast (so flavorful and fresh) the Chicken sandwich with egg and swiss (had this twice) and more. The ingredients are always fresh and the flavor of the combinations of those ingredients in their menu items is a step above others. The presentation of their food is also great and detailed. And the ambience has been phenomenal. The place is cool looking with jazz music playing and the staff is friendly and know our names. This place just opened and is already doing really well. I order at this place for my wife all the time. Today I decided to pick it up personally, what a disappointment with their customer service. It's Sunday I am their only customer waiting for my food and all you hear is crickets. So I started Asking friendly questions you know the usual( how is business) it's like I was talking to a brick wall. There was a guy in a chef coat outside the kitchen that I assumed was the manager or owner and all he did was talk to his employees with his mask off like there was no one in the room. So, como yo no soy tu sabe! Reserved my words for the remainder of the wait. Not even a have a good day. It's sad that during these COVID times we still go out our ways to support these small businesses and get no appreciation as a customer in return. This place is a little bit of heaven in this very quaint neighborhood Palm Springs North aka PSN .. their food is full of flavor. Their Prosciutto croissant is amazing and what a sweet and salty combo does their Billionaire's Benedict have. You are majorly missing out if you haven't tried any of their coffees. superb in my Book. What a nice find ! We really had no coffee houses near Miami Lakes, other than Starbucks. Not sure when they opened but sure glad they did. I had an iced vanilla latte which was a little sweet but it was very tasty. My wife had a pumpkin spiced latte which was made perfectly! Food selection was very nice. With a good variety for a small place. We had a prosciutto/scrambled egg croissant and an avocado toast. Both were delicious ! As a plus they serve wine and beer ! I highly recommend this and wish them success . Here's an update: came back and had their Pitaya fruit bowl. It was amazing! All the ingredients were fresh and the toppings were delicious! Presentation was good, but it honestly felt like it was missing something, I'm used to a more tangy avocado spread. The bread was good, but too thin, and way too crispy..more like burnt. The best!!! Usually I order during the week through Uber eats while I'm at work. I always get a mocha frappe. Super fire. Today I ordered though Uber eats and the driver forgot my mocha!!! I called up Smartbean and Daniel, the owner, answered. He felt terrible that the Uber driver forgot the coffee so he delivered it to my job himself!!! He's so awesome and I love his shop. Very pleasant little spot in the PSN area. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was a little too fried in my opinion. The sandwich was a good size and filling. What a great little hole in the wall! The location of this cafe is a little hidden, in the sense that it's not in much of a main road unless you live in Palm Springs North. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich which was delicious and a coffee. The ambiance for this place is exactly what a cafe should be! What a great cozy neighborhood spot! Located in the corner of a warehouse type strip. It's a small simply decorated space which makes you feel like you are visiting a friend. When you look into the eyes of the painting of the gorgeous lady they have makes you wanna hang out a little longer and daydream of what her life must of been like. This place seems to me that it's going to be one of those where everyone will get to know your name. The service and attention we received was the most kindest and welcoming we have received in a very long time and this was even as we arrived at their closing time. They were actually cleaning up and getting ready to close it's doors. But we were not only received with a warm and friendly attitude we were immediately advise with an apology that their kitchen was closed but that we were welcome to enjoy one of their coffee items. I decided to go with a small cafe latte. I requested it with only 1/2 shot of expression and warm. What I received was a delicious perfect temperature creamy smooth beverage. You know it's gonna be delicious when the beans which are going to be used are freshly grind in front of you. My hubby wanted to have a Dulce de leche latte but thou disappointed we were thrilled to hear that unfortunately he was not able to get one at this time due to it requires they make "the dulce De leche cream fresh' and they had already cleaned it up. Fresh dulce de leche omg one of many reasons to come back!! Next time a little earlier! So he went with the Carmel latte which by the way we were asked to taste it first due to it may already be sweet enough cause of the Godiva Caramel!! Oh my! It was smooth silky deliciousness! Pricing of items was fair and not crazy over the top. Choices are small Med and large. We went with the small. Just right amount and both cost $7 and some change. Not bad at all. We missed out on the goodies all were gone or picked up. But what was not lacking was the warm welcoming we received. The gentleman David was kind informative and helpful. He let us know they are waiting to receive their beer & liquor license which once obtain will facilitate the shop extending their hours and providing opportunity not to only order delicious coffee, drinks, goodies,etc but also enjoy live music. Perhaps some live jazz or other great music! In the world full of rat race type coffee shops where we have settled for lower standards of product quality and service it is a breathe of fresh air to have the opportunity to become part of the community of a small coffee shop. Where products taste delicious and welcoming environment is only surpassed by it's amazing customer service . I great place to gather with old friends, meet knew ones and enjoy a delish cup of java!! SmartBean coffee house is by far my favorite place to be! from the friendly staff to the vibes that no other coffee house has I LOVE this place. I go here so often since I'm a college student and they always acknowledge you and make you feel comfortable. Every time I go I'm always open to try new things and I get left speechless of how good the food there is, like for example the "dulce de leche croissant" is in between sweet and sweeter and so good it just melts in your mouth. It's truly a new Smart Bean concept..... is the place to have an amazing coffee and a fresh "not microwaved" meal.. this hidden spot has so much to offer.... Food is Fresh and made to order. I had a latte, avocado toast and a guava croissant. Plus a sip of my friends Mago iced tea!!! OMG better than Panera tea!!! 100% incredible. The avocado toast was amazing!!! Made to perfection, listen to the chef and add the balsamic vinaigrette!!! A must!!!! Every bite had a burst of flavor one better than the previous!!! Really phenomenal food!!! The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. They play soothing Jazz in the background and the art on the way puts you in a wicked good mood. They are newly opened so they have a few small Kinks to workout..... like plastic silverware should go away, and they need to have all items on their menu at hand always, but it's well on its way!!!
