Our tax situation isn't very complicated- though I'm sure Scott would do a fine job with more complicated taxes situations, the value my husband sees in him is how knowledgeable he is about finance in general. My husband uses his time with Scott to go through all of the questions that we have throughout the year relating to upcoming financial decisions...questions about purchasing a home, mortgage rates, property taxes, 401k investments, 2018 tax plan implications, etc. According to my husband, he gives practical, intelligent answers to these questions...all for about the same cost as going to H&R Block.
