Sandra the owner is very attentive and great with communication. She follows through on all requests. They provide all meals and even accommodated my request for vegetarian options both times The teachers are all very good, even at the old Otis location where my daughter went few years ago.My son recently went to the Park Avenue location and very easily adjusted to the teacher Helen. He was always happy to see her and stopped crying at drop off within couple of days. The teachers put in a lot of effort and are very friendly.

He told me he and his friends were locked inside a closet room as punishment. He was screaming asked for help and the teacher would not open. One time he was trying to grab and open the door and end up cutting his finger (I actually do remember one day the teacher told me he was "playing" and cut his finger, now I finally knew exactly what happened!!! My son also told me his friend who can talk well did tell his mom they were locked up but his mom didn't believe such horrible thing could happen. Do not send your child to this place and do not mis-guided by Sandra's sweat promise. Do believe what your kids said if they had told you things happened to them. Bottom line, this is a family business and a lot of State guideline are not closely followed (Sandra back then used room up-stair for activities, which I was concerned for safety). It is a solution if you are looking for low cost and easy to enroll daycare, but I would not keep the child there for long term, especially when the child is young and can not report incident to you.

All four of my kids have…read moreattended here over the years, starting from when they were infants, and it's truly been one of the best childcare experiences we've ever had. Teacher Rebecca and her wonderful assistants made us feel completely at ease. As any parent knows, it's hard to leave your baby in someone else's care -- but I quickly realized how lucky we were to have found this place. They are so warm, patient, and genuinely caring. They know each child so well and cater to their individual personalities. The program is such a great mix of Mandarin language exposure, play, and learning. My kids picked up so much Mandarin naturally through songs, stories, and daily routines. The teachers make learning fun and meaningful, and the kids truly love being there. My daughter transitioned to TK recently and had a hard time leaving Bay Farm Happy Bees. The daycare itself is clean, organized. The outdoor play area is huge -- with play cars, little houses, play kitchens, and lots of open space for the kids to run around and use their imaginations. Meals and snacks are healthy and home-cooked, which is such a plus. My kids always tell me about what they had for lunch and how yummy it was! Communication is great--we get regular updates about what the kids did, ate, and how they slept, plus photos and videos that absolutely make my day. It's so nice to see them smiling and having fun while at daycare. They also take the children on regular little outings to the nearby park and library, which gives them a chance to explore and learn outside the daycare, too. My daughter loved the circle reading time at the library! Most importantly, I've always had total peace of mind knowing my children are safe, loved, and cared for. That's something you just can't put a price on. Teacher Rebecca has become like family to us, and I'm so grateful for all the love and effort she's poured into helping my kids grow. If you're looking for a warm, safe, and enriching Mandarin immersion daycare with a very experienced childcare provider, where your child will be happy and thrive -- this is it.

He has really developed a strong bond not only with the daycare staff and family, but also with the other children there. He is very secure and happy going there, and when we pick him up. We feel so fortunate to have found Happy Bees and cannot express enough what a wonderful, safe, and happy environment Rebecca has created for the children.

All of the staff are extremely patient and skilled at helping children process their emotions. Guest teachers come regularly to teach mindfulness, art, and martial arts. The classroom is bright, inviting, and filled with a rotation of interesting activities, and the outdoor space is large and filled with vegetables and fruit trees that the children help plant, care for, and enjoy. Lisa NaiNai prepares the most delicious and nutritious lunch for the children with a menu sent out at the start of each week that would make any fan of Chinese/Taiwanese food want to partake. My daughter came home everyday excited to tell us about all of the interesting things she did that day and excited to show off her math and Mandarin reading and writing skills. We feel so lucky to have been a part of this community for the last 1.5 years and could not recommend it more highly for parents seeking a school where their children can thrive!

It gave me such peace of mind to see how quickly my child felt comfortable under their care. The combination of Montessori education and Mandarin immersion has had an incredible impact. Not only has my child started speaking Mandarin, but she can also recognize and write some Chinese characters. She has grown tremendously in independence and problem-solving skills. Watching her thrive academically and emotionally has been so rewarding. The cultural activities at AMCH, like celebrating Lunar New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival, have also been a beautiful way for my child to embrace and appreciate our heritage. Xina Laoshi, along with all the teachers and staff, go above and beyond to support each child's unique journey. I can't recommend AMCH enough. It's a place where my child has truly blossomed, and I am so grateful to be part of the AMCH family.

ViVi Family Day Care is one of the best things to happen to our family…read more Prior to our first child being born, we visited and vetted what seemed like countless day care centers, both large and small.  We ultimately felt more comfortable with the family-run model, and above all the most comfortable with Ms. Van.  When meeting her we could sense her caring and nurturing nature, and when meeting her children it was clear that she raised three intelligent, gracious daughters of her own. Of course we were still nervous that first day dropping off our first baby.  That nervousness quickly went away.  Ms. Van offers the love and guidance that a parent themselves would provide.  Over time Ms. Van's daughters became like older sisters to our kids, helping them gain confidence and grow socially and emotionally.  Our kids graduated from ViVi Family Day Care healthy, happy, and well prepared for Kindergarten.  We are forever grateful to Ms. Van and her family; they will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I want them to be taught kindness and the joys of play and laughter. I also want them to be fed nutritious home-cooked meals, to be supported in getting rest/naps during the day, get plenty of fresh air and sunshine, and to become potty-trained when they are ready. On top of that, I want to know what they experienced during the day and to be able to communicate openly with their caregivers. Well, Mrs. Van does all of this and MORE! You would be fortunate to have Mrs. Van in your children's' lives, just as we are. She's one-in-a million.

When we met Julie for the first time to see the facility (on a Friday night), our Daughter smiled at her and we could tell right away that they would go along. So much so, that we went back on a Sunday to officially sign up with Julie. It has now been several months since we've been going to Julie and we are extremely fortunate and lucky to have Julie care for our Daughter. On a daily basis, we show up to Julie and our Daughter is super excited and happy to see Julie (she even waves to her). When we leave, our Daughter is then super sad and unhappy to leave since she is having a great time at Daycare. This is a great feeling as a parent. On a final note, Julie goes out of her way to teach our Daughter things like clapping and waving as well. She now even understands some words in Mandarin/Cantonese as Julie is fluent which is an added bonus. Long story short, we could not recommend Julie any more and are super grateful for the care that she provides our Daughter. I'd go out there and say this is the best daycare in Alameda!
